Our family visited God’S Window after many years. The scenery is still beyond spectacular, but why do you allow tourists to put face masks, arm band, hair bands on the fences?? This DOES NOT BELONG. It spoils the view and the natural beauty of the area.

If you have to skip something on the Panorama Route, this might be the stop so you can spend more time viewing the falls or the canyon. The vistas are lovely, but besides the surrounding tree farms, there’s not much else of interest. When there are flowers in bloom, you can see a little bit of color popping through the scenery; otherwise you might be underwhelmed. There are a lot of stairs, so be prepared.

A lovely walk. This is a stunning sweeping landscape of the Blyde Canyon.
Please remember to come with a small padlock. You will thank me when you get there :-)

Ive returned to this beautiful area after 25 years..like our democracy after 27 years this place has been left to become derelict and really unsafe. Covid or not our national heritage sites should have been protected, its upkeep prioritized and kept preserved and ready for when tourism opened again.
So unsafe, fences very unstable, old litchen makes stairways and pathways most unsafe.
Not reccomended for old, handicapped and children ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

Excellent view.
Sorry about the upkeep if the facility, poorly maintained and managed.
Enjoyed the views at different look out points.

The natural environment is absolutely spectacular and we are so blessed to behold such splendor. The entrance fee is a bit steep but also because the area is not well maintained. Sadly, despite the number of dustbins and notices not to litter, the first thing one notices is all the filth.

Remember your sun block on a nice summer day. This was one of the only places that was busy before the holiday rush.
Try to go on the day where the sky is the clearest.
Be ready for a lot of steps to the rain forest.
The rain forest is nice and cool and it actually rained bit that day.
The view is wort it.

Came here twice given the first day it was very foggy and you couldn’t see anything. Make sure you do both the viewing point and the Rainforest Trail (ten minute walk). The viewing points here (three or four) are all phenomenal when it’s clear and sunny. Can be done in 30-60 minutes in total.

The view from this site is spectacular and the rainforest is fascinating. However, we were disgusted by the litter and people's discarded COVID face masks lying everywhere and hanging from the trees 😔.
Seeing as this is a paid attraction that international tourists are encouraged to visit, we were deeply disappointed and would not recommend it to anyone - we left feeling grossed out.

Spectacular views.
You can visit 2 days in a row and have a different experience as it changes with the weather.
Rainbows along the waterfalls and the next visit will be clear and you'll be able to see to the ends of the earth.
Bear in mind that the view is hidden, so if you get to the car park and aren't impressed, you need to do the walk to get to see the magic.
