Join one of our South African Open Vehicle Safaris into the World-renowned Kruger National Park on either an overnight safari experience or even a Kruger Park day safari, which will enable you if staying on the perimeter of the Kruger Park the opportunity of seeing the Big 5 and experiencing the natural wonders of this magnificent game reserve. All our overnight Open Vehicle Game Viewing Safaris, from a Two Day to a Seven Day are conducted in our own safari vehicles and include all transfers, accommodation, dinner and breakfast, entrance fees, and daily game drives. These safaris are not open to children under the age of six years old. If you are looking for a malaria-free safari, you can join one of our safaris at the Dinokeng, Madikwe Game Reserves, and Pilanesberg National park.
Please be advised that our safaris depart daily with a minimum of two guests traveling together.

They (Dean and Verity) really put forth the effort to take care of us and make sure we got what we wanted. They took care of the little details ahead of time, so we didn’t have the headache. We had two people working full time with our group of 14, plus a park ranger spent a day on us, and Verity back at base. I am certain that the guides that we had were among the best out there. For instance, our guide, Amanda, spotted a leopard first. Obviously, this attracted a crowd of other drivers. Still, she was one step ahead of everyone and they started following our driver rather than the leopard.
The hotel (Kruger Gate Hotel) that they helped us select was amazing and perfect for what we wanted.
Nhongo were very quick in responding to any communication. They showed up early to any time we met them. It was really door-to-door service and at the times that we wanted. They put forth the effort to keep us happy!

Verity was clear and prompt in helping us arrange our safari tour, while our guide Amanda was excellent - her passion for and knowledge of wildlife was inspiring. We enjoyed our tour very much and would highly recommend it.

My solo trip with Nhongo Safaris was super. Right from the start, the owners, Dean and Verity, impressed me with their quick and communicative approach. They were extremely accommodating throughout the trip, going above and beyond to ensure I enjoyed myself.
Our guide, Jurie, was personable and great company! His extensive knowledge and genuine passion for wildlife added a whole new level of enjoyment to the safari. Moreover, when an illness forced me to depart the tour a little early, Jurie, Dean and Verity accommodated my needs with utmost understanding and support.
The accommodations in the camp are basic, but cover all your needs for one night. and as its located right in the park, you can hit the road early and get back out with the animals.
In summary, my safari experience with Nhongo Safaris was super. Their friendly and helpful service, coupled with their expertise and dedication to responsible travel, left me with lasting memories. I highly recommend Nhongo Safaris to anyone seeking a safari adventure.

We just finished a truly amazing 2 day trip to Kruger National Park! Our guide Jure was fantastic! Since we had a very short time he made sure to provide us with so much information and try his best to go to all the hot spots were the animals might be, and he did not disappoint! We could not have even dreamed of accomplishing as much as we did on this short Safari! I know most of it was just pure luck, but Jure’s 25 years of experience in the park made the world of difference in getting to experience the animals in their natural habitat! Not only was Jure great, but so was the whole Nhongo team. Their slogan is “Arrive as strangers, and leave as friends” and they truly live by this motto. Some of the most hospitable and kind people we’ve ever met! Highly recommend this company and Jure to anyone going to Kruger! Just wish we had more time!!

Our 14 day stay at the Kruger National Park was absolutely amazing! We drove around the forest, morning and afternoon, everyday with the wonderful knowledge sharer and guide, Amanda. It was a great experience to explore not only Shingwedzi, but also the northern region of the park with Nhongho Safaris.

We had a lovely experience during the whole trip. Our guide Amanda was a thorough professional with her inputs about wildlife and how to make most out of the short safari experience. We enjoyed our conversations with Amanda a lot. The safari itself was wonderful, we saw many many beautiful animals that included the big 5. Our hosts and guides for the panorama tour Verity and her husband were great too.

I went on safari with my mum and sister. We saw lots of animals and on the night drive I was so excited and saw a big owl. Amanda was very nice and funny. Thank you to verity for making us have the best holiday ever

The big owl that you saw, must have been a very large one called a giant eagle owl.

Hola... estoy planificando un viaje a Sudáfrica y estoy convencido que Nhongo es una excelente opción para hacer el safari por el Kruger. Dentro de los safaris estándar, hay uno de 4 días por "southern Kruger", pero la web no especifica nombre del alojamiento ni la zona por dónde se hacen las salidas.
Alguien me podría aclarar si la zona de las salidas (ya que dice "southern Kruger") puede ser una desventaja?
Además, alguien me puede dar algún dato más del alojamiento (nombre, comodidades, algún detalle que me permita imaginármelo mejor?

Firstly thank you for your question. No we do not have Italian speaking guides. All our safaris are conducted in english, which is the main language spoken in the country.

Firstly thank you for your question. Unfortunately Hoedspruit is about two hours drive from the area we operate in, so for us to get there for an early morning drive is not possible.
Nhongo Safaris operates in the South of the Kruger National Park close to Nelspruit, White River and Hazyview, where our full day, half day, morning and afternoon drives take place. If you are staying in Hoedspruit, it is best to find an operator there that can do your drives.

Hello there! Could someone please confirm me, whether Nhongo Safaris or any other tour operator provides airport pick up at O.R. Tambo Joahnnesburg airport (ETA 7:30 AM) to join the 3 to 5 Day Safarai at the Kruger Park? If so, this will be very helpful! My intention is to be dropped off at a designated hotel either in Rosebank or Sandton afterthe safari games. Thanks for the attention. Cheers!

Oh, I should tell you that you most likely will not be able to arrange your own pickup time. The safari operators use a shared minivan that will pick up multiple people to drive to Kruger. They are on a schedule since they need to be in Kruger by a certain time to meet up with the safari guides. We were given a pickup time of 7 am and they arrived about 7:15.
