I was not sure what to expect when visiting this rehabilitation centre but it turned out to be an afternoon really well spent The centre does 2 tours a day. 9.30am and 3.00pm The Ranger who did the initial presentation (Oscar) was humorous and entertaining but managed to present to us the serious side to the rescue and rehabilitation of... What a wonderful experience. Spent half a day here. It started with a talk about the work they do in order to understand the work they do.this was followed by a visit to the cheetah, we got to stroke its back, but only when the animal was happy. I fed a vulture and stroked a eagle. The welfare of these... More

We were at Moholoholo last week and it was a high quality experience that taught us about wildlife rehabilitation and allowed us to interact with various animal ambassadors. It was especially wonderful to see the Magnificent 7 bird and to learn about the roles they play in the ecosystems. I strongly suggest that you visit as I found no other... More

Loved it. Such knowledgable staff who clearly live for the animals they help. I fed a vulture, amazing experience. I'd like to live there.

Great place to learn about the endangered wildlife and local situation it faces. You will learn a lot during the initial intro and also on the walking tour around the complex. You will get in close contact with the vultures if you want so don't stop moving :)

Well what a GEM!!! Even with going the Kruger National Park and having a good day - our visit at Moholoholo was by far the BEST!!! The Tour Leader starts the visit with a proper introduction to what they do at the Rehab, what animals they have and rescue and how the animals end up with them. A slide show... More

During our stay in the region, we visited Moholoholo rehab center. The guides provided us lots of information about the wildlife and the dangers for them. This was a very welcome addition to the game drives and bush walks to better understand African fauna. Don't think of this as a zoo where animals are captive; most of these animals couldn't... More
