amazing experiance!

In the beginning of November me and my friends went on a 3 night safari and we really had the most amazing experience!
All accommodations were nicely arranged and we could hear all the animals at night while still feeling safe. During the days our guide always had great snacks and drinks and we got to see amazing animals from up close right outside the vehicle.
We really recommend doing a safari here!

Absolutely incredible, he was really lovely and took good care of us, with drinks, snacks, food and nice stories. We saw really nice animals, also in interaction with each other. And he stopped whenever we wanted it. I would give also 6 stars. Fantastic!!!

Unforgettable safari

the safari was an experience I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Heine was incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we were okay and had enough to eat and drink.
We were able to see so many beautiful animals and we also enjoyed the sunrise everyday!

We can only recommend the safari with Heine! Everything was perfectly organized and food and drinks were always provided along the way. He has a great deal of knowledge about the many different animals and was able to tell us a lot. He made every effort to ensure that we could see everything we wanted.
We will take many wonderful memories and moments of this safari home with us

It was indeed an adventure I will remember for a long time, and I'm glad you feel the same way. Driving with you and sharing the thrill of seeing all those amazing animals was an absolute pleasure. Our group of x4spent a couple of days in Kruger National Park with Heine as our guide. We booked the trip approximately two months before it took place and communication was excellent throughout.

We found Heine to be very knowledgable about both the national park and the wildlife in general. It was clear from the very first day that Heine had prioritised our safety, comfort and enjoyment of the trip above all else.
Going above and beyond, our guide made every effort to ensure we saw as much variety as possible within the national park and served as excellent company for the duration of the trip.
Drinks and snacks were provide and the tour look place in a high standard vehicle which allowed excellent views of the various animals.

The cost of the trip is very fairly priced and offers good value in my opinion. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend KPS tours to a friend and should I return to Kruger, I will again use this company for my tour.

Absolutely fantastic 6 days in Kruger.

10 out of 10 for Heine (KPS Safari's) from my first contact, 8 months prior to our trip Heine was fantastic. Communication was prompt, giving us answers and suggestions to put our upcoming trip into motion. Once we had finalised our trip and committed, Heine stayed in touch sending us video's and pictures. We (a group of 4 couples) met Heine outside Kruger where he took us shopping to get our "supplies", before piling into his safari truck beginning a 5 hour trip up to Shingwedzi Rest Camp. We saw so many amazing animals in our first few hours, later in the afternoon Heine opened his coolbox to our surprise it was filled with all our favourite bevies, he had done his homework, and we arrived at the restcamp with only minutes to spare before it was locked. The next day we were up and ready at 5.30 am, heading to Letaba rest camp for 2 nights and then 2 nights at Skukuza. We had daily breakfasts on the go which we loved, it was generally on a bridge and prepared by Heine, rusks, coffee and fruit. The animal sightings were amazing, everyday we started at dawn and got back to our rest camps as they were closing, even though the days were long Heine made sure we saw absolutely everything possible which we loved. His knowledge of the animals is amazing, and it was never a problem answering our questions or explaining about the animals. We had lunch at other rest camps and roadside stops and every afternoon that cool box was ready with our bevies to get us through the last couple of hours. Our sightings were fantastic, we saw a leopard up a tree with its a kill, a group of lions setting up and trying for a kill, a lion ran within metres from our truck chasing zebra and wildebeest. The hippos were adorable, we could sit and watch them for ages. We had close encounters with hyena's, vultures, zebra, elephants, giraffes, wild dogs, many types of antelope and crocodiles. We spotted many different species of birds and were forever bugging Heine for his "bird book" to work out which one it was! We took off road tracks alot, bumping along looking for, and finding animals. Every day was exciting, we saw another leopard sitting on the side of the road and even a cheetah close up. I highly recommend Heine Thom from KPS Safari's, he is a beautiful person, nothing is a problem, he knows Kruger and the animals so well, and he knows how to get as much out a of day as possible.

The lunches at other rest camps and roadside stops provided us with the necessary fuel to continue our adventures. And of course, the cool box filled with your favourite beverages for the last few hours of the day was a small touch to keep you refreshed and satisfied. The variety of wildlife sightings you described is truly extraordinary. From leopards and lions to hippos, hyenas, giraffes, and even a cheetah close up, it seems like we encountered a plethora of magnificent creatures. We had the privilege of being part of a group of four friends visiting the Kruger National Park for three individual full day safaris over the course of a week.

First and foremost, discuss with the KPS team the best options for making the most of your trip, it would probably be best to book accommodation within the Kruger Park to avoid restrictions on day visitors (e.g. entry and exit times.

KPS operate a good, spacious safari vehicle that would accommodate six people comfortably with room for camera equipment etc.

Our safaris were conducted by Hein and Donald very professionally. They have e collent knowledge if the park and it’s inhabitants and take care to plan for stops out of the vehicle to stretch your legs or enjoy sumptuous breakfast and lunch breaks!

Depending on the time of year, expectations on safari need to be managed, the dense bush in March makes finding animals a challenge. Hein and Donald did a great job ultimately allowing us to see four of the Big Five, with a huge bonus of two sightings (on different days) of a large pack of wild dogs a particularly special treat for us.

More and better than we imagined

We hired Heine Thom to provide transport from Hoedspruit and to do two full day safaris in Kruger National Park. I can't imagine getting better service or a better team. We were met promptly at Hoedspruit airport and transported to our accommodation in the area. We unexpectedly decided to take a boat ride in Blyde Canyon the next day and Heine was so accommodating. After the boat ride, Heine and Donald (guide) picked us up at the boat dock and we proceeded to drive into Kruger National Park. When we reached the park the exciting part started as Donald and Heine took us on a 5 hour game drive. Spectacular. We saw so many animals (elephants, giraffes, buffalo, all kinds of antelope species, zebras, raptors, hippos and crocodiles). Donald and Heine were great at spotting wildlife. Heine had prepared great food and had plenty of every type of drinks one would want for breaks. A great day. We stayed in Letaba Rest Camp that night and Heine and Donald roused us for an early start (4:30 am). Heine had coffee and breakfast ready for us. That turned into a 7 hour game drive where again we saw amazing wildlife. It was baby season and we saw so many newborn babies (elephants, wildebeest, impala, a tiny baby hippo). We stopped for great food and drinks and to stretch. It was a great game drive with experienced guides. The highlight was a lioness sighting, wild dogs and hyenas. The next day we had hired Heine to transport us to another location, but his love of Kruger and game drives turned this "ride" into another 6 hour game drive. This was laignappe for those who knows what that is--a bonus gift that was very generous. I highly recommend Heine and KPS. He loves nature, game drives and Kruger. You will ask to quit before he will, as he truly loves being out there seeing nature. He knows the park, is very accommodating and kind, and just a perfect choice.

Amazing trip

An unforgettable experience to remember for a lifetime thanks to Heine and his team. They showed us an amazing world that we didn't even suspect... They told us a lot of interesting things about animals and answered all our questions. They took care of us all the time. We felt special!!!

As a surprise, Heine gave us a wonderful handmade wooden statue.

He also sent us the wonderful videos he made during the day for us.
I highly recommend his services, and would definitely visit again!
