It's a lovely style of restaurant with beautiful view but I have to say the food is truly disappointing. We had the french style chicken and it was almost inedible. The cheese platter was also very 'off' as I believe the brie cheese had gone bad. I've had brie (and always loved it) many times in my life and this one was truly terrible.

We ate in the lovely Mountain Cafe, the food there is consistently good. I am a vegetarian and really felt like eating curry as the weather was cold and the owner/chef whipped up the most delicious vegetarian curry for me. The gardens are full of herbs and veggies that are used in the kitchen. Definitely well worth going to for lunch.

A great restaurant with a fresh non complicated menu. All items on the menu are made with fresh ingredients and they are spot on. The owner, James., moves around and offers with his staff great service. We ate there two nights in a row and both times the food was great. You have to try the blueberry cheesecake. Haven on earth.

Lovely quaint restaurant atmosphere. Friendly hosts snd waiters but 3 of the 4 of us felt the food to be a bit on the tasteless, bland side. Ill probably give it another chance next year to see if its changed at all..

Mountain cafe has been a disappointment. The staff was rude and the service horrendous. Ended up leaving after an hour with no food orders being taken.

Wow! What a surprise! Rustic barn atmosphere, sat here for hours, having roasted sweet patato and ginger soup for starters - enough as a main meal. Choice for dessert is difficult. Friendly and continuous service. Worth the visit - 11 to 4 only.

The menu is very different to the average restaurant, but all the food is fresh, with fresh herbs from the garden. Food was excellent and very tasty

If you like blueberries, then this is the place for you.
Pick your own, buy them in the shop, or eat them in the restaurant. Personally, I think PYO maybe fun but I think it’s a rip off.
The food was very good in the restaurant and the blueberry cheesecake the best cheesecake I’ve ever had and probably will have the pleasure of!
The only reason for not giving 5*s is because I was asked if I wanted the change on paying the bill (140 Rand). I don’t like that in any country of the world.

Along the farm there is also a restaurant where it is good dining with a lake view from the terrace. Here you can also order the beer from the local "Zwakala" brewery, sure can recommend it if you are not visiting the brewery it self. Food is most surely value for money with a good service by the friendly personnel and owners
