Mountain cafe has been a disappointment. The staff was rude and the service horrendous. Ended up leaving after an hour with no food orders being taken.

Mountain Cafe is situated on Blueberry Heights Farm and set in a barn offering nice views over the valley below. We were quite a big group, but the small kitchen coped really well with our orders. Mountain Café at Blueberry Heights Farm off the R71 near Stanford Lake College. Delicious, freshly prepared food using local ingredients (in fact some of the ingredients are grown right there). A lovely country setting. The menu is changed every week to ensure that only the freshest (in season) ingredients are used. You can pick your own blueberries in season and... More

We went to the Blueberry Heights Farm during the morning and started with a breakfast at the Mountain Cafe. The food was delicious! Thereafter we went outside to pick blueberries. We had a great time!

Friday 2 December 2016 must have been an exception. Only one in our group of nine was particularly impressed with lunch. She ordered the chicken salad. My chicken and chorizo paella was soggy and cold though well spiced. First cup of cappuccino was excellent but cappuccino with a shot of Nutella was not. The Nutella lay at the bottom of... More

We visited when the restaurant had only been open for approximately 2/3 weeks. The atmosphere is lovely and semi-informal. The food was very good and home made. The prices were reasonable. The view when you sit outside or on the balcony is lovely. There is a veggie garden from where ingredients are picked as you order your dish, so you... More
