An hour's kayak trip to the waterfall and down the river towards the sea and back was really relaxing. The waterfall is definitely worth the trip and inaccessible without a boat. Staff were friendly and helpful.

As this waterfall is not visible from the road it was a pleasant and unexpected surprise when we came across it as we were rowing on the Kaaimans river. We were privileged enough to be the only persons around the waterfall at the time and it was a great experience just watching and listening to the sound of the water and the birds.

What an experience. It was my first time on the kayak, I did it with my 7 year old daughter. I just saw her eyes pop when we reached the waterfall. Absolutely amazing. We had to work together to ensure we successfully complete the course. Our kayak got stuck by the rocks at one point, we had to get off, push and get on again. We were soaking wet at the end but it was all worth it! I’d do it again for sure. The staff were so friendly and helpful. A definite must do!

Although the waterfall itself is not very impressive (might be different when in FULL FLOW). That said the cliffs, bush and views are well worth it

We came here after I’ve read on the website and from trip advisor reviews that this place was open and it is great!
So we drove here on a sunny Tuesday
We went to pay for a kayak and go to see the hidden waterfall just to find out it’s closed (although it was open!!)
we asked why it’s close and why we can’t go kayaking? Legitimate reasons in my book... but the rude instructor said NO kayak for you today!!
We were really amazed from him behavior because until now everyone we’re nice and kind to us..
after a short talk with the manager of the restaurant we understood from him that for No apparent reason they decided on Tuesday to close the restaurant and the kayaking... needless to say both of establishments - the restaurant and the kayak service were open and people were on the river with kayaks and eating food at the restaurant...
So weird and it was really insulting..
Won’t recommend no one to come here.

P.s The only picture I took at that place is a giant grasshopper.. enjoy!

When out there to rent a canoe to do some site seeing and to visit the waterfall but due to too much rain, we had to abandon our canoe trip. This is when we discovered the hidden Kaaimans restaurant directly under the bridge witch severe lovely food!
