Fantastic Experience!

The horses are incredibly well cared for and Amanda is a fantastic guide. The horses are absolutely stunning, and this is a definite highlight of our honeymoon.
Safety is the number one priority for both the horses and the rider, particularly with the recent poor weather.
We arrived a little early and Amanda made us feel so welcome, we even got to help out the tack on the horses.
We would absolutely recommend this trip!

We had an absolutely wonderful ride - along with the 2 grandparents in their 70s, as well as two kids (6 & 9 yrs) who had no previous experience on a horse. The horses were calm and the trail was beautiful. Amanda was wonderful, making sure everyone was fine. Her passion for the area and horses is lovely to see. Highly recommended, even for novices.

Perdepoort is one of Wilderness's beautiful little hidden gems. Our guide, Amanda, was simply fantastic. She was very informative and her bubbly personality made it so easy to have a relaxing conversation and contributed to our overall experience. Her connection with the horses who are well trained and treated with exceptional care, as well as the enchanting 65 acre forest is truly remarkable and makes for an easy learning experience, especially if you're a first time rider. Pop in for a double dose of relaxing horse riding and magical scenery to go with it!

Thank you Amanda & Perdepoort for making our time with you most memorable! Looking forward to spending more time with "Victor, Russia and Halfkroon" in the future.

a great experience that I highly recommend in Wilderness.
the welcome was wonderful, very friendly. The instructor knows how to adapt to all levels. The well-being of the horse comes before everything which is not always the case in this kind of structure, appreciable !!
horses do it well, they are kind, gentle and listen well.
Go there with your eyes closed !!

Great experience in the beautiful forest!!
Would highly recommend for visitors to the Garden Route. Rides are modified according to the riding experience of the group, so suitable for all riders.

Amanda and her horses are amazing... she somehow knows exactly which horse will suit you. My horse kroon and my BF’s horse Victor were the perfect match for us. The trail she then took us on was beautiful it felt as though we were transported into another world. So tranquil in the lush forest just what we were looking for to end off or trip up the garden route...

Thank you so much Amanda we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our "private" tour through the forest and hills of Wilderness. We were lucky an the only two guests who booked the tour for that particular afternoon. However, the groups tend to be very small anyway, which is very nice. The horses behaved extremely well. For people who never have ridden before, this is absolutely not a problem. The horses seem to know the path extremely well and easily stayed in line. The information provided by the Amanda regarding nature, the horses as well as about life in the area are very interesting. We enjoyed our afternoon and can recommend this interesting trip anytime.
