We were travelling to Sodwana Bay and were looking for different meal.
Meals are served according to time only. Breakfast menu items are between 8 and 10 and lunch meals only after 10.
The breakfast was absolutely superb. There was no excess oils / fats on one plate once complete.
While waiting for our breakfast we were able to visit the local craft market items for sale. Unfortunately the craft beer stall was closed. We arrived just after 8. Did not have time to go to the nursery.

Ilala Weavers is a great place to spend a few hours if you're travelling around Hluhluwe.
The museum has a lot of really interesting Zulu artifacts and local stories while the gallery doubles up as a fantastic souvenir shop.
I can also highly recommend Figtree Cafe which is attached. Their milkshakes are delicious and we had a lovely lunch there.

Enjoyed our visit and purchased some interesting items from the gift shop unfortunately one item that was to be posted to us in Australia never arrived.
Terrible customer service in that they don’t reply to emails. So don’t even know if item was posted.

The history of Llala Weavers goes back to the 1970s when the store pioneered support for local Zulu crafts. Treating craftsmen and especially women with respect, Lllala Weavers offers a huge selection of crafts at reasonable prices, while ensuring that the artists are paid fairly. The store is most pleasant. The staff always helpful. It is connected to a lovely cafe that serves homemade lunches in a garden setting. Be sure to visit the "Museum" in back of the store as it has its own store. The most spectacular Zulu baskets for sale in the country are to be found in the Museum 'shop.'

Wonderful woven baskets, a bit more geared for the tourists. Lovely garden setting and looks like nice cafe.

This is the best shop around. The gifts bought were reasonable and unique. There is a cute lunch area.

Bought beautiful shoes there, and lots of other worthwhile merchandise. We went back for the nursery across the weavers, plants at much better prices than in the city! The coffee shop has mouth-watering cakes.

we were so happy we found this shop! from the name, we thought it would only be baskets, but it had everything! and the cafe even had a lounging cat on the deck for us to pet. Highly recommend!

We love visiting Ilala weavers for a relax atmosphere, good food and a play area for children while food is being prepared.
We enjoyed our light meal, which was served beautifully.
Afterwards, when we were ready to leave, I found my daughter in the curio shop making a purchase.
I was somewhat concerned with the way a delicate item was packed and resting on its ears so attempted to safely repackage it. No problem at this point. The one assistant asked the other what the matter was and she replied using a derogatory reference to me being the problem *thinking* I didn’t understand Zulu. How wrong she was! I challenged her and she apologised which actually makes it worse because she apologised for being caught. Had I, like many people who shop there, not understood her - there would have not been an apology!

Well, I hear the auction paid safaris do not include any CATS. Which safari should we add for 1 day to see tigers? We will probably do Capetown first-(but no schedules for other than safari yet) Our safari dates are : Mar3-5 in a tent, and 6-8 in a lodge. Should we pay for a hotel in order to do CAT safari? 'We' is my adult daughter and myself. We want to do EITHER Johannesburg area or Victoria Falls. Not sure if we can do both. I might try for a timeshare in Capetown.

Ilala Weavers is a place that sells African handcrafted goodies, e.g. baskets, bowls, jewellery and much much more. Worth a visit if you looking for African curios for yourself or as a gift.

Just checking on what is available. Have never been there, so I guess it will all be good.

Hello... I think you are talking to the wrong company about what you are asking. We are a curio retailing business.
