Nice needlework done by the locals - basically handbags etc. The workshop is set in a very nice garden.

It is always so heartwarming to see projects like this make such a positive impact. The creativity displayed by the embroiderers is astonishing. Gorgeous cushion covers, bags and book covers come alive with colourful animals.
It is always gratifying when beautiful objects and positive impact come together.

A wonderful project - Tunga means needlework in isiZulu.
The inspiration of this project has been knitting a community closer together, creating art and improving lives of women some of whom are affected or infected with HIV. Tunga studio currently works with over 30 local Zulu artists producing embroidered cushion covers, table cloths, purses and more; each design is unique and work can be commissioned.
