This place is set up for tourists. It's not at all authentic, but you will find some nice trinkets to take home. Can be pricey though, compared to other places. There are several activities available e.g. Gondola rides, 5D cinema, dangerous creatures exhibit... all cost money, so be prepared to spend.

Lots of restaurants and curio shops, but worth the visit to relax. My highlight was the dangerous creatures, and the side shows you find in the open spaces. At the entrance as we came in was a Zulu dance on the go, with drums and all. The Dangerous Creatures hosts interesting displays of various reptiles and amphibians. The decor inside... More

My husband and I spent an amazing time here, we loved how safe it was to just walk from one end to the next with the lovely sound of the beach, the shops and the people. A must see if you haven't, at night there is a fun fair with a number of rides. Absolutely beautiful, if reminds me of... More

imagine yourself walking in an area with several colors of people but entirely at ease, relaxed and equally eager to see what the walk reveals next, this was the most relaxed walk i have taken and seeing so many people from different parts of the world seemingly all moving peacefully and in sync with my none communicated holiday feeling. hah... I felt at home and i enjoyed the route . The people very welcoming and danced with the old women, tasted the traditional beer, received traditional gifts. A good history coming alive

Very vibrant with stores to suite every shopper! Some stores a bit expensive all though for the international visitor maybe not too bad. There are plenty of franchise type restaurants to eat at at very goog pricing.

Same old ocean basket kind of fish menu. Prawns rather very dry this time around and squid heads not available on the menu

Lovely place to have lunch, we had Ocean Basket which is always a good option. Also try the fudge at the fudge shop!

This is extremely touristy, but does include gems! If you're looking for handmade clothing, be sure to stop by Styles Africa and say "hi" to Rachel and her team. Reasonable prices and an assortment of ladies' and mens' clothing and accessories.
