My time in Durban with this crew was simply amazing. The dive masters really took their time to explain things to us and took extra care with less experienced divers to help them feel more comfortable. On one of the baited dives we were lucky enough to have a tiger shark swim beneath us twice! We saw a ray, some... More

Tiger shark in May - you were lucky. Tigers are most abundant between January and April, so it is great that you still spotted one in May. I'm glad our team treated you well and helped you feel comfortable on the dives! More

Dove with Raggies Tooth shark teeth while diving Raggie's cave. Freedove with tens of Black Tip sharks and Dusky sharks (The guide said there was even a Bull shark deep below us). And dove the Produce wreck. Knowledgeable, charismatic staff made this an expeirence I will never forget. Still jealous of my friends that saw Tiger sharks and Whale Sharks.

Thanks for the positive feedback! You and your friends were lucky, it very rare to enjoy all the shark diversity on Aliwal Shoal over a single expedition. But we try! More

Really a great experience. By far the best diving i have done in my life not only do you get to dive face to face with black tip sharks you also see a great variety of fish and marine life. The dive instructors also are very professional and teach you a lot about the marine life. I Highly recommend this... More

Its great you had an 'Awesome' dive! The Blacktip sharks never let us down! Marine education is a vital part of all our expeditions, so you will find our 'dive instructors' and 'guides' are not only professional divers, but also qualified marine biologists. More

Thanks for the complements! What is really rewarding for us is the 'swim with sharks' expedition we offer for snorkelers. This means you don't have to be SCUBA qualified to enjoy a shark expedition - anyone can do it. This means we can introduce everyone to the wonderful world of sharks and high light the misconceptions about them! More

Best diving of my life on the Aliwal shoal with a great crew. Had countless Black tips surrounding us on our dive in crystal clear water. Great dive masters and skippers. A definite must do if you are in the area!! 5 stars

Great you had a wonderful dive with us and lots of black tips. You were lucky with the water visibility, typically we average between 6 - 15m vis, but on those special days Aliwal can clean up beautifully. More
