Our visit to the sugar terminals was excellent. We had an extremely informative guide and learnt a lot about where our sugar comes from. The visit takes about 45mins and there is an informative talk and video and a visit inside the silo. It costs R20 per adult and R10 per child, just give them a call before you go... More

A 45 minute tour gives you a presentation in person and a video about the sugar industry in South Africa, plus a walk into the the silo to see what a pile of sugar of several thousand tonnes looks like. The tour guide was brilliant - compelling presentation skills and knowledgeable.

Before going we checked the website several times. We were running late and decided to join the next group tour. When we arrived the tour office was shut closed. I buzzed only to be informed that the tour for 11:30 was not taking place and that I had to book in advance. Can't recall seeing that on the website. I... More

It is very interesting to visit this place, you will be able to learn how sugar is being processed from sugar cane harvesting right up to the final product, good learning experience for school groups and individuals.

good fro kids, schools and family fun. Silos are amazing, good experience to learn about sugar and I suggest they give out samples of sugar products to visitors...
