Everyone raves about uShaka water park, few give enough credit to the aquarium. Skip the shows, just take time to meander through the tanks - soul restoring. Midweek expect large school groups - these still don't detract from the calm.

My girlfriends and I went to uShaka for my 26th birthday, and we were not disappointed. We loved seeing the fish, watching the dolphin shows and seal shows, loved the penguins and had a blast swimming with the sharks. We'd definitely go back again.

What a beautiful aquarium! The idea of building an aquarium within a "shipwreck" is genius and creates an adventurous atmosphere. Be sure to pack your swimmers and some cash because there are awesome cheap activities like swimming with seals, snorkelling with fish, shark dive etc!
