The place of many views..well worth a local drive down to remind the soul that we are not designed to be in a rat race lifestyle

A visit to this valley is usually accompanied by a trip to a Zulu “village.” The scenery itself is stunning although the hills are gradually being overrun by random housing. Best seen in a small vehicle that can show you viewpoints tour buses can’t reach.

Some great little shops and stops along the way, but sadly there has been a downturn in what used to be a great concept.

Stop over for coffee on the Comrades Marathon route. The view is spectacular as one sips on freshly ground coffee overlooking the Valley of a Thousand Hills. Breathtaking.

A lovely drive with many interesting stops along the way. The scenery is stunning and many restaurants and coffee shops for a bite to eat.

The Snake & Crocodile Park is small and not a high quality facility. The only good thing is you get to hold a baby alligator and a Boa snake.
