Simply breathtaking, Great variety and well organised. Some attention required but subjected to Municipal SCM constraints due to red tape you usually encounter. Municipality should act to make it one of the best in South Africa

Beautiful birds. Lots to learn. I love feeding the birds. It's an awesome experience for kids as well. The birds fly onto your head, shoulders and hands.

We enjoyed our visit here today. However the place isn't too big. We were through in about 70 minutes. Waited another 10 for the next show to start. That one took another 30 minutes roughly. We were disappointed by it.... seemed a bit... trivial?

Yes! Just arrive and pay at the entrance. Entrance fees are around R60pp. Get your swan food and nectar at the entrance too.

Actually I did recommend the bird park by mentioning it was well worth visiting. It is beautifully situated, has wide variety of birds. They also rehabilitate birds there and offer some educational shows daily.
