Excellent place to view birds in large enclosed aviaries that are walk through. Many rescued birds that cannot be released but covservation the message. Buy some nectar and swan food. Feed the swans and water fowl then walk through the parakeet aviary where the birds will come to feed on the nectar and sit on yourhands and head. It is... More

The variety of birds is unbelievable. The talking parrots are funny. Missed the bird show but heard that it's informative and fun.

Not a Wow - But interesting and fun family activity - especially for younger kids. Tea Room - Not wow but what one would expect from a park like this

So good to see that the bird park is still operating. It's a beautiful and relaxing way to spend a day walking through the aviaries and paths. Despite some of the enclosures appearing to be a tad small, all the birds looked healthy and well at home. We got to watch the show which was fun and educational too. I... More

We took our 5 year to the bird park. It was beautiful and he enjoyed every minute of it. There was a bird show as well and you could also feed them.

Was really enjoyable as a family outing. Especially enjoyed the fact that there was a cafe seeing that it was very hot today and we all could enjoy an ice cream. And most of all the bird cages were very very clean and the birds are well looked after! Also Very friendly staff and a great variety of birds to... More

Hundreds of photo opportunities for the photography fanatics. We attended the show as well. Very informative and should be attended if you visit the bird park. Pity we had rain, but that did not dampen the day. Well worth the visit.

Went on a Monday and was one of only 10 people in the whole park. Tons of fun walking through the open cages, although I am still not sure where we were supposed to buy the bird feed from... the bird show was AMAZING, and instead of doing the big theatrical show due to a small audience they did an... For the low price of R50, this was a good afternoon out with young children. Lots to see, aviaries you can walk inside, lots of colour and a bird show which was really entertaining and informative at the same time. Well placed cafe for snacks, toasted sandwiches, ice cream - all reasonably priced. Cafe could use a little revamp though,... More
