We had some time to spare so decided to go check it out. I love how they really try to teach kids about the environment and the importance of cleaning up The Dolphin show is cute but I was concerned, like in any sort of park, for their long term welfare. The have a lovely old boat transformed into an... More

Great aquarium really had a great day. The dolphin show was very nice and you can do animal encounters if you like. We also went to the water park to swim, but didn't really meet our expectations.

Being there with My Husband was fun. The person who did that plan is really wise. I love that old ship.

Not really sure what I expected but came away feeling let down. Teenagers only entertained at Wet n wild for about two hours and things such as shark cage diving is really false advertising when given what the experience really is all about. Very expensive and have to pay for parking AND tip car guards?

Last year on our return from our cruise to Portuguese islands when we got in Durban Harbour we decided to do a bit of site seeing before our flight. Ushaka marine world seemed ideal. Staff were helpful, friendly an so accomodating. We were able to leave our bags without hesitation and enjoy the scenery, treats, shows, shopping etc. Only regret... More

A wonderful place to spend the day with the whole family. Everyone from young to old can have fun in the sun here. With amazing water slides that never seem to get boring to chilling in the lazy river to just take a break. Its a place that one can enjoy. It also has one of the largest aquariums in... More

uShaka has everything you need about ten times over. A great place to get ice cream, souvenirs and waste an hour, in a good way like we like to do sometimes! average prices for SA and a nice little stroll basically before you hit the beach but also handy if you forget something for said beach trip and just want... We loved the way this aquarium has been built inside an old wreck. We only visited Sea world - all very interesting. We also managed to catch the Seal Feeding, the Dolphin Show and really loved the feeding of the Rays! Well worth the visit if in Durban.

Visited the Marine world with our Grandson. He thoroughly enjoyed it. Found the information on Dolphins and seals interesting. They focus on littering and it's effect on the many sea creatures that shares the ocean.Downside is that you are not allowed to take your own food and have to purchase from the regular vendors in the Marine World area.

The exhibitions are great, The show times make sense, the cage diving was an experience. I think it is worth the hype honestly.
