Been to uShaka Marine World a few times in the past, but not been there for a while. It still is a fantastic attraction to the city and well maintained. We spent a long time in the marine aquarium which never fails to amaze and deliver. All creatures are well looked after and their tanks very well provided. Always worth... More

The Dolphin show and the water park with the various slides are awesome and is a lot of fun for the children. However, the shark cage diving, the under sea walk, and the snorkeling are very artificial, if you have done this elsewhere in the world such as Mauritius, this is not recommended.

Great family fun. One of the best aquariums. We loved the Dolphin show. The water park was great for all ages, including our one year old. Just a word of advice, the water park isn't open every day; it is usually closed on Mondays and sometimes other days too. The website doesn't clearly state this, so worth double checking on... More

Durban's beachfront attraction is rapidly becoming a lumbering mess to the Durban community, out pricing itself with staff that really have no interest in being there or healing the public. Poor show, poor attraction

As a 28 year who hadn't been to an aquarium in probably 20 years, it was a bit underwhelming (it's pretty small) but it was still a really nice space and all the kids I saw were having a fantastic time. I don't think I would return, but if you're an adult and you have nothing to do on a... More

Ive visited uShaka a few times over the years. Nothing really has changed. It works out quite expensive as a family, and the experience isnt that grand. We went on a busy day and it became an exhausting experience waiting in queues and being pushed around b other guests.

Went to Ushaka, didn't do any of the attractions just went for a walk on their stunning beach. You could be anywhere in the world. Many nice restaurants and shops too.

Found some good T shirts, biltong and African momentoes. People very pleasant and friendly. Good photo shoots of typical African Rondavels. Safe parking, right on the beach.

Water park and restaurants galore with many shops. Or meal was good down on the water front. Lots of families and touristy, but good for an outing. Cabs come and go. We took one from the Hilton and it was R90 Inc tip. Security around and we felt safe but it's in an area of low to mid housing. Wouldn't... More
