Recently completed the 4 hr Tuk Tuk Tour of Soweto which was amazing. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and the tour guide was knowledgeable and so friendly. We started with a cooked meal which included a chicken and beef stew which was very nice. The tour itself highlights the history of Soweto but more importantly shares an insight to its people. I learnt so much and would throughly recommend using Lebo’s when visiting Soweto. I also recommend the Tuk Tuk, we got to cover more of the area, hear more stories and not be too impacted by the heat.

Very nice tour with a warm welcome and a very good guide telling not only about Soweto itself but about the total history of apartheid and South Africa. We , as a family of five , learned much more on this tour than we did during our visit at the apartheid’s museum. Perfect bikes , good food, very warm and welcoming atmosphere. We felt great respect for this organisation trying to improve knowledge and progress in Soweto. We do recommend this tour strongly !

A friend living in Joburg booked us on a tuk tuk tour and we had a wonderful experience, all ten of us discovering Soweto. Our guides were all very knowledgeable and friendly and the tuk tuk a great way to go everywhere. First we were given a delicious plate with different stews. Then we drove around the different areas, making regular stops to learn more about the history and living conditions. In the clean and safe backpacker hostel, we saw that travelers staying a few days are invited to volunteer with local children and in schools. Our guide also told us that Lebo's provides some poorest townships with a soup kitchen every Saturday. The local children smiled and waved at us during our visit and we learnt so much. Thank you to all the staff for a very memorable experience.

Linda and team gave interesting insights into Soweto on 4+hour cycle and we observed the reality of a poorer side of life, yet all the locals we greeted had a friendly smile. I had purchased at a single traveller rate and ended with a large group so I wondered if we would have traveled more if we hadn't waited for group members at some stops. Still worth while. More time in Vilakazi street perhaps, entering the Mandela museum? Desmond's house etc missed. Lunch good. I paired this with a Joberg city tour afterwards which seemed short and rushed, constitution hill being the main highlight. But Khotsu gave a good commentary and some quick viewpoints. Thanks team

We had a great experience yesterday with a 4 hour bicycle ride of Soweto. We had 9 x 15 year olds ( including 3 Spanish boys) and 5 adults. It is a brilliant experience for foreigners and locals to experience Soweto. It was completely professional and our Guides - Linda, Longile and Brilliant looked after us so well. The lunch was also a fabulous way to end the tour. The people of Soweto warmly welcomed us which was truly a humbling experience. All the staff were friendly and helpful including when I was arranging the tour. Thank you to all for a special day.

What a great tour of Soweto. I had rented a car in Joburg - the drive from Rosebank to Soweto was really easy and parking was safely ensconced at the hotel. Lerato, our guide, was friendly, knowledgable, and passionate about his hometown, providing facts and context to this historically important and complex area. Through biking, one is able to get an up close and personal feel for the neighborhoods. I would highly suggest this tour to anyone who is interested in learning more about the history of this fascinating place.

We had been recommended this cycle tour by so many different people during our travels around the world and it didn’t disappoint. A truly authentic and once in a life time experience, easily one of our highlights of Jo’Burg. Linda was a fantastic guide and made sure to show us all different sides of Soweto, the more touristy “white Soweto” and the the poorer areas, which are continually let down by government and unkept promises. Also treated to a delicious traditional lunch. 10/10.

DId a full day cycling tour with them and absolutely loved it. We had to switch to a Turk Tuk for the second half of the day as it was just constantly down pouring. The fire cooked lunch at the hostel/guesthouse was *excellent.*

Thanks to a fascinating guide we really felt the soul of Soweto. This allows you to break away from preconceived ideas. Taking the tour by bike allows you to see different neighborhoods and realize the different standards of living. Excellent.
