About
We are a bicycle tour company with a difference, we offer discounted bicycle tours to anyone who donates a book or two when they books with us, we then donate those books to community libraries. We are the only bicycle tour company that offers a bicycle tour, with a wall climbing activity, beer tasting, a bit of hiking and lunch. All in one package.

We had the best experience with Book Ibhoni and our amazing guide, Wandi. We’d actually booked with another company then heard they weren’t doing tours on our date, and the Book Ibhoni team saw that we were alone and went out of their way to help us contact our tour company. When this fell through we asked if we could go with them and we’re so glad we did— it was so special to learn about Soweto from people who love it so much. It’s a beautiful community and we had such an amazing time getting to know Wandi and his home. Can’t recommend enough!

What an amazing tour. “ Rambo” our tourguide informed us very well about life here! Brought us to the Hector Pieterson Memorial and museum. A must for every visitor of SA to understand this country. We also had lunch together with Lebo at a local, not a touristic restaurant. Worth every Rand. Best regards from the Janus family, the Netherlands.

A great tour through a part of Soweto (Orlando). You learn a lot about the structure, people and daily life. The guys were very considerate of me and were very flexible in adapting the tour to us. The stop to eat an authentic Kota or to get to know the Soweto brewery was cool. We had a wonderful afternoon and can recommend this tour to everyone.

Did the walking tour earlier today and had so much fun. The beer tasting was a great experience and the food at the end of the awesome tour was so good. Tour guide was friendly and professional. Highly recommended

My friends and I had the best time on this tour in Soweto. This company is run by amazing men who are true Sowetans and know the ins and outs of everything in the area. The history they provided, the information they shared about their current lives and the cultural immersion was authentic and real. I would recommend this tour to anyone living in South Africa or visiting. I would do it all again!
