A big thank you for excellent service received at a time of need. Mother admitted to hospital unexpectedly. Son due to fly. All happened over the festive days and after hours, and with a red eye early morning flight to catch from Lanseria. What did excellent look like? Answered the ph despite late; quick reply; ease of online booking; sent driver details; teen reassured by having a secure booking for a flight in less than 6 hours time. Sandton Taxi driver phoned at 4am to say he was on the way; then called adult who did booking to confirm that the teen was safely at the airport. Big sigh of relief. Personalised service appreciated. Highly recommend this service. And I've travelled a lot so know how automatic pilot and no more taxi services can be.

I would highly recommend Sandon taxis
They turned up at our hotel in Pretoria 5 minutes before the booked time after having sent a message with an Eta. Our driver Taffy was very helpful and a great driver. On arrival at O R Tambo he dropped us under cover as it was raining and then made sure we knew where we were going. They take online payments which make things much easier and you know in advance exactly what the cost is going to be. They even helped us with a suggested pick up time as we did not know how long it would take to drive from Pretoria ot Johannesburg.

We used Sandton Taxi Cabs for a tour of Johannesburg / Soweto earlier on this month, and from start to finish, we were impressed by the high degree of professionalism of this company. Communication was made very easy (responses on Whatsapp were given within the hour, usually much quicker that that). I would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Johannesburg.

I want to tell you how much I highly recommend this transit service. I needed transportation from my hotel near OR Tambo airport out to Nambiti game preserve. The communication was excellent. The owner messaged me several days early to let me know the name of my driver and exactly what car and license number would be picking me up. My driver Alex was very punctual and did a great job communicating with me. He drove me for five hours out to the game park and then he returned two days later to pick me up. Both directions, communication was excellent and he was always right on time. Safe driver who checked with me periodically during a long trip to see if I needed to make any stops. I would never hesitate to use the service again .

We went to Lesedi Cultural Center and the Lion Safari Park with Nkululeku from Sandton Taxi as our guide. At Lesedi Cultural Center we learned about the different African tribes such as Zulu, Zhosa, and Ndeble. They had mini villages built in the unique style of each tribe. Our guide took photos and videos of us and was kind enough to send after. The Lion Safari Park was just across the street. We got to see up close several prides of lions, along with leopard, cheetah, wildebeest, hyena, giraffes and zebra. Our guide was extremely accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Sandton Taxi services for private tours that are safe, fun and personalized!

We booked 3 trips in one day. We were an hour late for the first trip and 30 minutes late for the last trip. In between, the driver waited an hour for us while I had to visit the office for work. Fantastic service, no complaints or charges for delays, lovely, friendly drivers. Could not imagine a better service anywhere!

As a solo traveler, it was important that I secured transportation from the airport to my accommodations before getting into town. My driver contacted me via WhatsApp the day before my flight was expected to arrive. He was waiting patiently as I exited the flight, carried my luggage to the car and we were on our way. He knew exactly where he was going and was super professional. Highly recommend. Much easier than a cab.

We hired Sandton Taxi Cabs to take us to the Cat Stevens show at the Dome and then drop us off at the Montecasino afterwards. From the enquiry to our drop off their service was excellent!! Tendayi was very helpful accommodating and professional. Desire, our driver, was on time, very professional, accommodating and pleasant! We will definitely make use if his services again. We were a group of 20 and he really impressed us all!! The bus was new, comfortable and clean!

Booked taxi services twice through them. No problems in the driver at Johannesburg. Courteous and cam before time to our rental apartment for taking us to Johannesburg airport. Responses were super fast and coordination never a issue. Charged us ZAR 500 from Sandton to OR Tambo , which was very reasonable given the car was actually an MPV. Easily accommodated four large suitcases and four adults.

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Johannesburg in April. Previous airport round trip transport arrangements had been made with Sandton Taxi. Bonjani was waiting for us with a smile. During the ride we told him we wanted to see the Apartheid Museum and Soweto and then arranged a tour with him. He provided a full day of touring also visiting the Nelson Mandela Museum, a church, the top of a downtown Johannesburg building. After a full day of touring, Bonjani who is very passionate about his love for Johannesburg insisted that we visit the high end mall - Sandton and Nelson Mandela. Bonjani is very articulate, knowledgeable about Johannesburg and knows everyone! We were so pleased with Bonjani that we scheduled a tour to Lesedi Cultural Village after he told us we could not leave Johannesburg without going on a cultural tour. If you want a pleasant, knowledgeable passionate tour guide, ask for Bonjani.
