I enjoyed the trip as I found PJ to be a wealth of knowledge and very professional guide who knew his country inside & out. Besides being knowledgeable, he is an extremely positive person who is quite enjoyable to be around.

Steward Travel provided first class service to me and my peers while we were in South Africa. They rollout the red carpet for us in every way. The food, the service, the attractions, the tours, etc. It was just phenomenal. I will highly recommend their services and will recommend to my family and friends when traveling to South Africa. I contacted Steward Travels to ask some questions for a writing project I am conducting on the tourism industry in South Africa. Gilroy was one of the most knowledgeable and generous people I have spoken with in the area. I would highly recommend Steward Travel for anyone wanting an authentic experience. I have a yearning to travel to South Africa in the future and this is undoubtedly the first service I will call. I am certain that travelers will be beyond pleased with the customer service and knowledge of the team. Thank you!

PJ and Gilroy went above and beyond excellent customer service and made my experience in South Africa and eSwatini unforgettable! The 7 days with our group was so fun, smoothly organized, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable. The safaris organized in Kruger Park was definitely a highlight, as well as visiting the chimp refugee. We all left with smiles, fond memories, and beautiful goodies to take back to the states :)

We have booked a one day group tour Johannesburg, Soweto & Apartheid Museum with Jeff Travel and obviously Gilroy from Steward Travel was subcontracted and came to pick us up with a super clean van at the hotel. The hotel owners obviously know him since longer time and were very pleased to hear we got the tour with him.
Since no other guests joined we had a private tour, still, the group price was charged.
Having been in JHB a couple of times for work this time my daughter joined me and we both wanted to find out more about this town I regularly visit.
Gilroy was the perfect guide, he took us on a well designed tour and was willing and able to answer any kind of questions we had. (The next day we took another tour with another tour guide/company and felt a real difference, the number of words was countable....)
Gilroy is very friendly, always entertaining with highly interesting information during the tour. You can feel that he loves his job, is eager to study and learn more and more every day in addition to the high level of knowledge he already has as a tour guide.
We really enjoyed the day and felt very safe, no matter in which area of the town.
Clearly more than just a recommendation.
