About
Market at the Sheds is Pretoria’s most colourful social market. The market has over 60 local entrepreneurs exhibiting and selling their products to hundreds of patrons from 11:00 to 00:00 every first Saturday of the month in Pretoria CBD at 012Central, 381 Helen Joseph Str. While visitors explore a curated selection of fine design, arts, fashion, food and drinks stalls, they are entertained by the best of local live performances. Market at the Sheds’ Afterparty with the finest local DJ’s starts at 17h00. Tickets are available online at Webtickets R80 - R150, limited tickets are available at the Gate R80 - R150 (Apart from Special Editions) Look out for the early bird special - if you arrive before 12h00 - only R80 per person! Free and safe parking is available at 216 Sisulu Street, which provides direct access to the market. Visitors can also park at the South African State Theatre.

Market at the Sheds which takes places every 1st Saturday of the month is a wonderful space to go socialize and learn more about Pretoria Culture. I personally love the people, the fashion and food is amazing! It’s a safe space for the LGBTQI+ community and other marginalised communities (oh the have a special Queer edition once every year 😉). The music is everything. Small businesses gets good exposure and for the fact that I can even take my whole family with is beyond amazing! Make a stop at this market and you will not regret it! It’s a Yes! Yes! Yes! From me! I am literally there almost every month!

I had the best time of my life, I stay in Jhb and I have to say that Pta groove has to be the best. I even recruited more friends to join me this time around to experience this madness that never disappoints. I can’t wait to have the experience over and over again

Market @ the Sheds is an amazing event. The best way to show off all the Art, Crafts, Cuisine and Entertainment the 012 has to offer. Would 12/10 recommend this event for anyone who's looking to escape the lull of suburbia or take your international to do something different in the 012. Pretoria is the most underrated city of RSA!

It is actually felt good writing this review because 04 years ago on this day. It was my first time attending the Sheds and ever since then I never stop unless I am sick like the August 2023. It is a clear indication that Market @Sheds has become my home of fun and vibes. I introduced all my friends and we are always there. 012 Central is the place to be first Saturday of the month. We love the vibe, food and music.

So I started going to market at the sheds last year and ever since it's been tradition. Whoever I meet and they want to plans on the first Sat of the month, I always say market@thesheds. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the live music just makes it even better. Oh don't get me started with the food and the people. It is such an enjoyable vibey place. I give it a 100/10. I love the unexpected pictures. Everytime I've been there i have the time of my life.They like take good pictures and i saw pictures of my friends and I on their timeline and they so beautiful. Totally recommend ❤️

Oh what a refreshing place to be! I absolutely love the vibe. I usually visit this place with my friends and hubby but this time I went alone and Guess what , I made friends. This place is organized, safe and fun.

I went there to observe and see how I could get an opportunity to trade. Little did I know I could also network and have fun at the same time. I was really blown away by the vibe at Market@theSheds. The Market@Sheds is an experience!! Is amazing how it is growing in size and in the variety of food, drinks and attractions. Is a space for creative fashionists of clothes, shoes and accesories. The music and the young environment creates a very vibrant mood. The modern design of the spaces speaks of the hard work they are doing in the area. It is worth mentioning that there is available parking space, but you have to go early, We enjoyed a lot because it makes you feel you are in South Africa. Recommend it without hesitation.
