I just visited the park to observe how the new liquor selling hours were effected, just before the lockdown. This was the first time I ever saw this place as empty as if was, I could only count myself and one couple seating on a bench. Huckleberry's restaurant I the vicinity, was also empty, the parking lot is the evidence as can be seen on attached pictures. The park was as naturally tranquil with the sound of birds and water running down the stream. I enjoyed it, unfortunately due to emptiness and darkness I had to vacate the place. Hoping that the lockdown will not last for the year. #StayHome.

The Magnolia Del park is an average park on the outskirts of Pretoria towards the east. Beautiful trees and a couple of different big and small birds. Braai not allowed. The stream running through the park is badly polluted.

Recently visited the park just to relax. The park is well kept and has a deli onsite. The staff at the Deli was friendly and welcoming.

This park is in the middle of residential suburbs and has a relaxing atmosphere amongst the trees. It is a pity that the Peter Pan statue that used to be there has been removed.

Recently, I visited the park on both a Saturday and Sunday just to relax and observe the latest trends and behavioral payterns, based on my previous observation and also to see if latest homeless people murders had any effexct on visitors to the paaaark. Even though the killings happened at the small open park axross the road. So far, things seem to be getting better. My major previous concern was, littering, especially on Saturdays when there is a lot of parties tking place, Now I notice that littering is not as huge as in the past. Maybe due to my previous reviews emphasizing on littering. Anyway, the place remains attractive and well maintained, however, use of braai stands and using of the park as soccer ground is becoming a problem. Locked public toilets remain an inconvenience to visitors. The other continuing advantage is access to free Wi-Fi of 1000 MB per user per day, courtesy of Tshwane Municipality. in closing I recently enjoyed witnessing a couple celebrating birthday for their small dog, dressed in pinkish cloth and being taken pictures with full blown bunch of pink balloons, It was so interesting to see the dog posing patiently for the pictures. I just said to myself, " what a lucky dog." The downside is the sight of that trade mark tree that was cut of in the center, overlapping on top of water stream, it looks barren, hopefully b it will grow some fresh leaves that will make it attractive once more. Go on and enjoy the park and please remember not to litter or contaminate the stream.
