This is the first time that I went with "Toer Suid-Afrika" on tour and I enjoy it very much. The flowers were beautiful and the accommodation were of great standard and the food was fantastic. The other members in the group were very friendly We laughed a lot and made a lot of friends. I highly recommend the Namaqualand flower with Riana and Peter. They are two great people and I will go again with them on tour. Marietjie vd Hoven

This is our second trip with Riana and Peter. We went on a Namibia tour during June 2023 and the wild flower tour during August 2023. We highly recommend both tours. They are excellent hosts with superior knowledge, so whilst on holiday, you still learn.

What a privilege to travel with this special couple in Namaqualand. They went out of their way to make it comfortable and enjoyable. This was the first time we went on a tour with a group and will definitely repeat. Made new friends, saw our country and laughed so much. Thank you Peter and Riana and group. We feel rested!

Peter and Riana Maas went the extra mile for us on the 6-day tour to Namaqualand. Their itinerary is also flexible to ensure that the group experiences the best scenery.

We made a 4 days tour including a full day panorama road (Blyde River canyon) and safari in Kruger + private game reserve.
First of all, Riana is amazing. She is helpful, she knows a lot about South African history, about animals.
And then, the program was great and above our expectations.
I would definitely recommend to let her schedule your tour in order to have a great experience.

My wife and I were extremely happy with our decision to book a tour to Swaziland, Kruger and the Panorama Route with Touring South Africa(TSA). In fact, after contacting them with a rather disjointed idea of what we wanted to do, Riana from TSA went out of her way to provide details of different options that were available to us, based on her extensive experience.
Our tour began, as we were met at the airport by Peter and we spent the next 4 wonderful days together, driving through Swaziland and South Africa. Peter was very informative and considerate to our needs and ensured that we were provided with excellent food and accommodation along the way.
The highlight of the trip was the day spent in Kruger National Park, which was an absolutely magical experience.
Both my wife and I are extremely grateful to Riana and Peter for arranging and making our trip so worthwhile and we hope to travel with them again sometime in the near future.

We did several day-trips with Peter: Maropeng, Soweto and Apartheid museum, Pilanesberg National Park, and Pretoria.
The trip to Maropeng included going through the interestingly set 'trip back in time' and discovering the details of what it takes to be human. The latest discoveries from the Rising Star caves about Homo naledi are on exhibition. Extremely informative, you will want to spend there more time than you have. Nearby is the Sterkfontein caves where you have to wear a helmet and crouch through the low passes. Nothing seriously demanding. It's a rather nice experience instead.
The tour of Soweto included the orientation behind the townships, Soweto uprising, and Mandela family house. The visit to Kliptown Youth Program was the star of the tour, where you can see the poverty from one side, and opportunities created by the citizens themselves. It was touching to hear the KYP volunteer thanking Peter for the publicity given by bringing tourists to KYP. The Apartheid museum is amazing, leave some extra time for it.
Pilanesberg is interestingly set on hilly landscape, unlike many other national parks in the African savanna. It's also quite smaller than other parks, thus more manageable in a day trip and gives higher chances that you will meet all Big Five. It was great that Peter volunteered for an afternoon drive in the park, which increased the chances of seeing animals that were resting/hiding in the heat of the day. We met 4 of the Big Five that day, and set a new record after seeing 20 rhinos. The highlight was the family of elephants bathing in front of the Magistrate's Court (now restaurant).
Tour of Pretoria was also interesting, with all the background information needed to know to understand the sculptures of the Voortrekker Monument and the highlights of Union Buildings and the Melrose House.
While driving, Peter was able to provide background information for the site we we visiting. He was well-read and able to answer all our questions, amazingly covering diverse sectors of South African background: wildlife, habitat, geology, sociology, history and more.
Peter and Riana have the right balance between professionalism and friendliness. I couldn't recommend them more!

Hi Rianna, there are 5-6 of us, with a day free on Saturday 11th February, we are staying in Farm Inn Hotel and would like to see some highlights of Pretoria and also Soweto/Johanesberg and would need to be dropped off at Tambo International Airport at around 4.45pm.

Hi my wife and I will be visiting Pretoria in July this year, she is attending the university there . As our leisure time is limited can you suggest any tours we might be able to do. We are both about 60 years old and not anywhere near being Olympic athletes . We will be visiting the area several times over the next couple of years so we don't have to do it all at once . Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
