As someone used to the place, I know that there was a vacant shop for some months, however, recently things have changed.

The big vacant shop, has been divided into three speciality shops. The biggest one, being Tasko sweets, it's very colorful and blessed display shelves full of all sorts of colorful sweets that draw a lot of attention to shoppers.

The one next to it is Biltong Bites, specializing in selling of biltong, nuts and dried fruits by the time of my visit, the store was not that busy. also noticed some Blue Bulls merchandise hanging around at the far back of the shop. I am not sure if it is for sale or part of the decor, since it was not mentioned when I asked for list of items sold.

And finally, next to biltong shop, there is a gaming shop, by the name Gaming Hub. It's a pity I didn't get a chance to find out about all the services or products on offer. However, I noticed a number of gaming peripherals on display.

There is also a laundry/dryclean shop, that opened some months ago.

All these together with long term tenants add an interesting mixture of shopping experience, that keeps attracting more shoppers. Not forgetting the ever popular Protea hotel, that is always full of hype of activities.

Parking remains free and there is always visibility of uniformed security personnel and car guards. Adding a feeling of security, however, remember that you must also practice safe habits as well. Such as keeping valuables away from prying eyes and making sure that your vehicles doors are well closed and locked, by physically checking them before leaving your car.

So, as they say, the taste is in the pudding. You be the judge.

Went to watch the Bulls vs Sharks game. Everything was perfect until after the game...We had to wait almost an hour to get out of the basement parking as there was only one exit. Simple..., if you want to host 25000 + supporters at Loftus, sort out your parking. I understand its bump and grump after a game but that left an otherwise sour taste in the mouth.

The new mall opened on the 28th of March 2018, I visited on the 29th, just to have first hand experience of the place. It is not a huge mall yet it's design is breathtaking. At the main entrance there is a speciality shop on the left and food outlet on the right. As you proceed further there are restaurants on the left and right side and Protea hotel on the right, and facing you head on is Checkers . Before the entrance to Checkers, there is a circle, with water cascade. Virgin Active and Dis-chem is on the left hand side. Postnet is next to Checkers exit.
At the time of my visssit I only visited Dischem, and they were still busy filling the shelves with stock, while Checkers Hyper wre busy with confectionary tastings promotions, by the way inside they were also offering sushi for tasting, I tried it, however it was just avarage for my tasting, I enjoyed their value for money fish cakes . That was my only visit so far.
There are ATM's of major banks, except Standard bank.Below is a list of all the shops: Roco Mamas restaurant, Casa Belia restaurant, Turn & Tender restaurant, Salsa restaurant, Vovo Telo restaurant, Seattle Coffee CO.
Vos Biltong shop, Checkers, PNA, Dis=chem, Virgin Active, Postnet, Levengers dry cleaners, Sorbet Man, Eyeland Optometrist.
That is as far as I am concerned, otherwise I stand to be corrected. I am looking forward to my second visit.

Was accompanying a friend for shopping. I liked the Shoprite setup, it looks very upmarket and lately they have also opened their wine cellarr section and it looks beautiful.

I also liked the water ountain especially with the differentt backround lights in the middle of tghe centre. Restaursnts are beautifullly arranged and look inviting. It has introduced the alternatin=ve to Menly Mall, Brooklyn Mall Hatfield and Sunnypark. It also closse to Eastwood Tarvern

Lovely architecture with stunning open landscaping and sculpture pieces. Woolworths food and Checkers for groceries and ready made meals shopping. Lots of restaurants to choose from for light to romantic meals ( breakfast, lunch and dinner). Office blocks and Hotel complex on site. Lots of parking.

A gem in a very obscured area... From grocery shopping to picking up meds, to having brunch or lunch or dinner. You can get your nails done, facials and hangout to watch sports on the big screen. Its so convenient rushing from after work to grab a quick bite or to shop a few items. Dont forget, there's Protea Marriot too
