    Amazing tour
    Just finished the 12 day Ultimate tour. Everyone was very friendly but also professional and efficient, so much knowledge and experience to impart. Amazing accommodation and trips (saw so many animals and learnt so much), seemed like we saw a little bit of everything but wished we'd booked a longer tour we enjoyed it that much. Daily briefings inform you about the day and with fuel, tolls, food and trips included it takes all the stress away. Bikes were great, quick shift and cruise control were a revelation! 😁. Thank you everyone at SAMA for a great experience we'll never forget.

Amazing tour

Just finished the 12 day Ultimate tour. Everyone was very friendly but also professional and efficient, so much knowledge and experience to impart. 18 day Best South African Road Trip Ever

We did this tour and had an absolutely great time. The organisation and trip planning was very good, our well prepared GS 1250 was great to ride, the accommodation varied from good to excellent and the roads and scenery were varied and often spectacular.. The SAMA staff were a pleasure to deal with. Special thanks to Jonathan and Clayton who lead and backed up the trip really well and were a lot of fun to be with. Also to Nicole for making the whole process run smoothly.

Brilliant 13 Day Self-Guided Tour

Using the detailed tour notes provided by Nicole along with the hotel reservations at our destination each day allowed us to simply have an absolutely fantastic time. Two of us rode from Cape Town along the Garden route past Port Elizabeth to Addo, then inland and over the Swartberg Pass and several other passes into Franschhoek, over Du Toitskloof Pass (which was one of the visual highlights of the trip), to the west coast town of Paternoster - there is a brewery on the left just before you enter the town that is worth a visit - then back to Cape Town. Riding on various types of gravel roads, dirt roads that in parts were really not roads, and normal tar roads, where each day was different made this a trip we will talk about for a long time. Stopping at places on the way such as Stormsriver Mouth, Adley House in Oudtshoorn, Duiwekloof Lodge, Paternoster Dunes Boutique Hotel (which was a really nice way to end the tour) before ending up back in Cape Town made this a really enjoyable, tiring, somewhat dusty, brilliant holiday.

The information and support provided by Nicole made this a holiday to remember. I would recommend Sama for anybody that is thinking of touring this amazing country on a motorbike.

Great experience from start to finish

Rented a great bike from a great bunch of people. Jonathan and Nicole made the process easy and understandable. Would be happy to rent from them again. I did not take a guided tour with them, but rather rented a BMW GS for a month of wandering southern Africa. Still Jonathan picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel.

BEST 18 day South Africa Tour EVER

From the moment we landed in JoBurg SAMA took fabulous care of us! The BMW motorcycles were in top condition, the routes were gorgeous and the accommodations luxurious. The weather was ever-changing but our guides rolled with the challenges and we enjoyed the adventure of a lifetime! Support van with hot coffee, cold water and our luggage was never far behind, Clayton gave us helpful knowledge and organized every interaction so the trip went very smoothly.

Women Riders World Relay 2019/2020 Bikes hired from SAMA Motorcycles

I was a member of a group of women riders from UK who hired bmw 700GS motorcycles from this brilliant company to participate in the South African legs of a world relay.
From organising to participation the whole team at SAMA motorcycles were 100% helpful, informative and supportive. I cannot thank them all enough for the assistance given throughout our two weeks in South Africa.
Fully recommend them to anyone thinking of using them for hire or planned tours. Great for advice even when you’re in the early stages of planning.
I hope to go back soon 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

5 day self guided tour

Excellent service from the moment of pick-up at our hotel, to returning the BMW F850GS after 5 days of riding. D gave us a detailed ride itinerary, plus everything dotted out on the GPS for each day. Selected roads and excellent accommodations, plus a private safari tour to Kruger National Park.
The temperature was warm so we modified our schedule to ride only during the early mornings, but there were never any problems with the hotels because of our premature arrival.
Due to the limited number of days we had accessible, we are surely coming back to discover more of this wonderful country. Maybe during a cooler time of the year..

An excellent Adventure Vacation

My wife and I were participants in Sama’s 22day Victoria Falls tour. This was our 6th motorcycle tour. we have travelled in a variety of countries with several motorcycle tour companies. Darryl and his team at Sama provided a great experience. Right from the start with well prepared motorcycles, an excellent route, great accomodation and food.

We have met some great people on our tours and thanks to the input of Darryl and Lou the team on this tour was no exception.

My wife has been my pillion on our past trips but due to injuries from an accident this was not possible this time, but it was no problems to Sama, she did the tour in the support van with with a couple of other trip participants. Lou the support van driver was more than helpful to all and his knowledge of the areas we travelled through was great.

Anyone considering a motorcycle tour in southern africa should check out Sama Tours ...... First.
