Poor Service - Not able to book online or via 0860#

This is not the first time that I am unable to book on Ster Kinekors website. Firstly, when you join the SK membership and ask for the activation mail to be sent to you. It never arrives! It is far better to not log into you profile and book - it actually works. Today I made a payment using my Card however after paying the site says "Just a Sec we are processing your payment" That message stayed on screen for at least 6 min. Then you call their 0861 668 437 and the IVR says you cannot make a booking as they have upgraded their booking system. Just a poor experience overall. I eventually got through to their contact centre and spoke to Moosa. A polite gentleman who was able to assist. He advised that there was a system challenge. Ster kinekor - It is December, you guys are in the business of client satisfaction. This is the time of year where your IT Infrastructure and websites should be at its best. No company allows a problem such as this to last longer than 24 hours. Even if it does, then atleast give your clients a way to book via telephone. Finally - Why would people book online and still have to stand in the same line to pick up snacks with those who did not book online??? The reason any one books online is to ensure they get the seats that they want AND to not have to stand in queues! It makes no sense. I am referring to specifically the mall of Africa venue. These are seriously bad experiences from a clients perspective and it will be in your best interest to resolve.

Watching a movie

We joined the long queue to buy our movie tickets but with the self service terminals it went quicker, we selected our movie to watch, paid and enjoyed the movie, Crazy rich Asians. The theatre was cleaned and everybody enjoyed the movie while munching away on their snacks.

With so many self service terminals, the long queues are not that much of a concern. This is the "Business Class of Movies".

Once you experience prestige , there's no going back to normal cinemas.

Saturday afternoon is really busy but well managed.

Went to go see a movie on Saturday afternoon and when we arrived it was incredibly busy. Have not been to a movie theater that busy in quite a long time. All the queues were quite long with a lot of noise and lots going on.

They have a new system where you buy your movie and snacks from a touchscreen terminal. For some people they battled with selecting and other found it quite easy which was a mixed bag of user experiences. Personally the queue didn't take long and managed to get my ticket and ordered snacks very quickly. I then joined the other queue to collect my snacks which didn't take long either.

I had some bad luck where the "butter salt" actually had "salt & vingegar salt" and popped to the snack counter where they quickly exchanged it for me with no fuss and attended to the problem.

It was clean as well as having a great experience and was quite surprised as it was very busy and thats normally where service starts to suffer.
