Joburg is grossly underestimated as a touristic destination: since I moved here in 2016, I've discovered more and more cool places. The Joburg free Walking Tours are the best way to get to know CBD and Braamfontein

Joburg is not generally known as a pedestrian-tourist's city, so I appreciated the opportunity to explore the city center on foot, with a dynamic and knowledgable guide, Sethu. My tour group was small and the city was a bit quiet, as it was a public...More

Had a great time with our tour guide, Nyakallo. Was completely comfortable walking around and learned a lot about the history of the country through the tour! The tour helps to understand the different facets that make up the city of Johannesburg.

Fantastic tour through the old Johannesburg. The guide was amazing and gave a lot of historical background on the buildings in CBD. I recommend the tour to anybody who wants to get to know the real Joburg.

Excellent tour and guide. We had previously done the bus tour through the historical area, but needed more information and a more personal experience. We certainly got this- warts n all.
