One of the most memorable experiences of our two week trip to South Africa. Sifisou showed us around the building inside and out, telling us the history of the building and the surrounding area. Great for architecture nerds, film-buffs and generally anyone interested in the...More

This was a truly educational experience. The history of Ponte Tower is a window into how the political and economic factors of apartheid and post-apartheid Johannesburg directly impact the fabric of a city and the lives of ordinary people. The downtown walk further emphasized this...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our Tastes of Yeoville tour! It was such fun to walk around, taste new food and revisit areas that we knew well in our youth! Enlightening and inspiring! It opened my eyes! Exoring Ponte was a real highlight! What a place!

My husband, son and his girlfriend went on the Ponte tour this past Saturday. It was a very eye opening experience to learn about the history of the once esteemed Ponte building and progressive surrounding communities which were destroyed by the government’s apartheid policies. After...More

We went with our own car. We parked inside the tower. It's not a safe area so just be alert.
