The Johannesburg skyline is not that interesting and when the windows are so dirty it is hard to see it is not really worth it. The 50th floor is derelict, the floor and ceiling is in dire need of repairs, the boards explaining the views...More

The Top of Africa was dirty and falling apart. Doesn't look like it had been cleaned or kept up since the 90s. Windows were so dirty it was hard to see clearly so the views were obstructed

Stopped as part of our tour. It is an old, dirty building, downtown Johannesburg that needs a lot of updating and maintenance 0 thankfully the elevators worked. View was OK but the bad air makes the view hazy.

Views of Johannesberg in all directions. There are some panels telling you what the sights are, but more could be done to highlight points of interest. Good to visit if you are in the CBD, area appeared safe to me.

The building is dilapidated, everything is broken and dirty. The view from the top really is not worth the entrance fee - maybe they should consider cleaning the windows ?! A waste of time.

Its so sad that the local government let this beauty go to waste. The restaurant is closed the guides tell fables to blow their own horns twisting history at their own tall tales

An interesting day spent at the Carlton Centre and surrounds, be prepared for a lot of walking, comfortable flat shoes is a must. We went to the tower to have a birds eye view of the surrounding areas and we were not disappointed. The elevator...More
