Apart from animals there is nothing much unless there are events. Also the eating areas are a bit expensive and for us that are sole breadwinners at home we don't really get to enjoy it much because affordability is an issue. It would be nice...More

Pretty OK once you get over the fact that this is a ZOO within driving distance of the real thing. Clean, animals look well taken care of, interesting info placards.

In the 21st century a zoo is outdated and cruel. In Africa spend the time to drive out of the city to see animals in more natural settings.

There is so much that has to be seen that its actually tiring. If you dont hire a little cart or a pram for the kids you will be worn out very quickly! Apart from that its nice to see all the animals. A big...More

Zoos have a really bad rap but this zoo is a good place to visit not only for the animals but also for the open spaces and if you just want some excercise. The enclosures are really "open-plan" and not like the old Victorian-type cages...More

I found the zoo really didnt have much going for it...it seems a funding problem I think. The Polar bear had almost no water in his pool....in the middle of summer! Cruel people, Cruel...

The animals are been looking good after. There cadges are clean and the park it self is clean, staff is helpfull, nice places to eat and drink. Animals not to near the fences, and not so far from Pretoria

Hi Ruth Just called to find out for you - there do NOT have the golf cart tours available anymore but do have wheelchairs for hire (R100 per day). Hope this helps.

No, not possible. To interact with baby lions you should go to Lion Park.
