I am basically a wild life lover. I prefer to see animals in their natural habitat, but Johannesburg zoo has done almost the impossible. The animals are not kept in"cages" bur rather had a larger space in which to roam. the upkeep is good ....More

The Zoo must be visited because of its excellent layout I loved it when we went there as Children. As a grownup I could here the lions roaring in my bed at night WOW

Fun was had by all. The children really had a day filled with fun and excitement. The animals looked well cared for and happy as can be expected. Very clean and sell looked after.
