Had a great time. Animals and grounds well looked after. Lots of walking so make sure you take lots of water.

Upgrading and looking very well structured. New features aquarium and amazon animals structure very cool! Spotted numerous animals in enclosures for visitors pleasure. Kids very excited with various animals and activities.

The zoo is nice and good for families. Sadly for us it appears all the other animals such as lions and tigers were sleeping when we visited. The zoo could do well to tell customers when it is a good time to visit.

Took my grandkids to the zoo this school break... super experience... well worth visiting. be warned... be prepared to walk... but well worth it

I think our Joburg Zoo is right up there, when it comes to world class Zoos in the world. I suggest locals buy the annual pass, especially with younger children. The restaurant also sells delicious food

At the main entrance there might be cameras but we entered through the back entrance. The security and cashiers there were friendly and profesional.
