We did both the Green & Red routes and stopped at the Apartheid Museum. The English commentary was clear and informative; we booked online which saved money and the tour itself was very good.

It's an interesting way to tour to say the least. Basically you you have the option of buying a day pass or 3 day pass. Then the bus stops at every stop. If you wanna get off, off yougo. Ifyou wanna stay on, stay. You get a "tour" while on the bus regardless via the earphones provided to you and... More

I have lived in Johannesburg for 30 years previously lived in KwaZulu Natal. We decided in Dec 2016 we were going to experience Jozi again on a City Sightseeing tour. We were very impressed. Not to give too much away, the history and sights will truly amaze a tourist and even the locals. I have used the Red bus tours... More

Best way to get a real taster of Johannesburg- best when weather is good and can sit on top open air deck. The commentary is available in many languages and very interesting and informative. You can hop off and on - constitution hill and apartheid museum are best stops imho. Buses stop relatively early and are less frequent later on... More

An excellent way to be a tourist in one's own city. We went on a family excursion and had a great deal of fun. The commentary was very interesting. We appreciated the escort to the Carlton Centre viewing spot and back to the bus. Would definitely recommend this to others.

This was amazing, I was a bit late so I didn't hop off enough but the experience is great even for someone who lived in jhb. The discount for the bus tour participants is a superb idea and helped alot cost wise, it should state the sab tour is only open certain days. Will definitely do this again!!

I only took this tour since it was New Years Day and I didn't have many options but I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the tour. The information on the audio was very helpful and I learned quite a bit about the city. Many attractions and museums were closed that day but they advised me of this before I bought... More

We didn't have time to print our tickets and we were worried that it might be a problem, NO. The driver printed us the tickets using the reference number. The service is equal to any in the world (I had used the service in Singapore & Miami). The attractions where the bus stops are very interesting (e.g. Jo'burg Zoo, Sci-Bono,... More

I have done these bus trips in other countries but didn't think Joburg had much to offer from a touristy point of view. My 8 year old daughter and I had a lovely day on the bus. We found the staff really friendly and they even helped store our luggage for the day as we had come straight from the... More

Did the city tour on a very rainy day and it was time well spent. The staff was friendly. The buses were right on schedule which impressed me greatly. Earphone commentary was clear and very interesting. Neighborgoods market at the Braamfontein stop was amazing with the best paella I've ever had. The atmosphere was fantastic. I would recommend starting early... More
