We did this on a Sunday and found the inner city very quiet. Being from JHB I enjoyed that but for visitors to the city I would suggest doing it during the week or preferably on a Saturday when the neighbourhood market in Braamfontein is...More

Novel way to experience Jozi and learn about its history and past, helpful staff and some nice stops - amazing to experience a different side oof a city we so often only judge by face value

Our group of ladies who live in Johannesburg decided to try the hop on hop off bus - Green and Red routes - to see our city and its attractions. The bus departs from opposite Standard Bank in Rosebank (Cradock Avenue) and we thoroughly enjoyed...More

I am very satisfy with tours. I got two days ticket. Busses were clear, on each stop on time and crew very friendly and helpful. I think this is the best way how to see city when you have very limited time.

We did the red line bus and was interesting tour, not many stops worth getting off. SAB stop is probably the best. The bromfontain markets close at 3 is the only thing to consider,

Hop-on-hop-off busses have always been our favorite way to tour a city. The Johannesburg City Sightseeing tour was excellent, with the busses being in top notch condition and the staff being friendly and courteous. The narrative was informative and entertaining. There was a good choice...More

Always a good way to visit a city. The weather was bad, but that did not stop us Price is reasonable, gives good oversight We did not do Soweto tour, if you want to do that and the other two tours, you need two days

I'm not usually a fan of city sightseeing buses, preferring to explore a city on foot and by public transport the way the locals would, but given the size of Joburg and its diverse neighbourhoods, some of which simply aren't very safe for non-locals, this...More

I travel a lot and love to get an overview of each new city. We did this in both Joburg and Cape Town. The narration recordings were interesting and of high quality. And between each one, African music was played. It was a very nice...More

The Main departure Point is at "The Zone" shopping center in Rosebank. There is a free shuttle bus from Sandton and Melrose Arch hotels to connect to this stop. There is plenty of parking at the Zone. We recommend only this... More
hi, we'll be in johannesburg in early july for 2 days and it sounds like the on/off bus was a great way to see the city. did you book it when you arrived or prior? did you feel safe getting off the bus and walking around?? it seems best to see the apartheid museum on your own? any further suggestions are welcomed. thank you! food queen

We bought our tickets for the bus at Park Station. When you get off the Gautrain, head for the Wolmarans street exit. All the stops the bus makes are safe, and didn't really feel threatened at any of the stops. If you do... More

The Apartheid Museum. You'll need about 2-3 hours for it.
