DAY OUT FOR ALL AGES

Safe parking. Had to find someone to pay the entrance fee. Lots to do whether pensioners or children.

we were here for bodies exhibit, so did not do much else, but it seems like a place worth stopping by. I have been to few similar Centers in the US and this one on par in terms of material, set up and the quality of information.

What a great adventure for kids. They get to learn about science through games and great interactivity from magnetics to electricity to sound waves and whole lot more. Kids go ballistic for the mind boggling array of displays.

I'm sure the Newtown location puts a lot of people off but it is very simple to find and not at all unsafe. Boomed parking right in front of the building as well. There is so much to do for children of all ages. Getting in was a bit of pain with a very slow system but the staff inside... More

We enjoyed the overall experience of the interactive exhibits. One definitely needs at least 2 and a half hours to enjoy the various categories of science and technology. We were offered a tour guide at no extra cost and he was very helpful (albeit not as enthusiastic as he might have been). Finding the actual building with one way streets... More

We went to the Sci-Bono exhibition to see the Body Works exhibition. It was amazing. Perhaps the exhibition was more impressive than the centre but having the centre there which one can use is great.

This center is well staffed, and regardless your age, you will learn stuff and have fun. You need at least a couple of hours. The exhibits are interactive, and we found the center well staffed, and in a good state.

Decided to surprise my wife for her birthday and visit the Sci Bono Centre in the heart of Johannesburg. I must say this was an incredible experience with so much of fun. There's so much to learn and do and is a must to do while in Johannesburg.
