The Classic Kruger trip is for small groups that know each other such as friends or family and want to enjoy the park as a group. It is great to experience the park like this as your are taking pictures and videos as a group and this builds memories.

We did the Soweto and Johannesburg tour in November. Henry was great. We drove past some of the Jewish sites, but the highlight was touring Soweto and just talking to Henry about his experience growing up during Apartheid. The Apartheid museum is not be missed, I just wished we had more time there. Mandela was an incredible leader and it was inspiring to learn about him. And the Soweto tour was eye-opening. We live a charmed, privileged existence and to see the friendliness and open attituded of the residents of Soweto was very impactful to remind me of how lucky we are. We enjoyed our tour with Henry and he even helped us with a minor medical issue. So I highly recommend the tour for those wanting to see Johannesburg and highly recommend Henry and Catz Tours.

We hired Catz tours for a comprehensive tour which included Jewish Heritage sites. We did ride through Hillbrow, saw the Holocaust and Genocide museum, the Jewish cemetery, Holocaust memorial and a visit to Soweto. Henry was very knowledgeable about the Jewish community and of course, the history of Soweto. Highly recommended!

Thank you for the kind words and review. It was a great day and loads of fun and questions always makes it more interesting. The Genocide & Holocaust center was also amazing with the new permanent exhibits and taking a walk through with you guys was really great. Also, the family that walked in to show their children the history of their grand parents was moving. Once again thank you for the review. It is appreciated.

I did quite a bit of research to find the right tour company in Johannesburg and I am so glad I found Catz tours through Trip Advisor. We were a group from age 23 through 64 and we were all impressed by Henry, our tour guide. He was timely, enthusiastic and thoughtful. Henry has much knowledge of the history of Johannesburg and he has lived there his whole life so has seen much firsthand. He really brings the history alive during the tour and includes the pretty and the gritty of his city. The reasonably priced tour included seeing Mandela's home, the Apartheid Museum and going up in a downtown building for an expansive view of Johannesburg among other things. I would encourage others to get out and see Johannesburg and see it with Catz Tours.

I have to say Henry was such a perfect tour guide, our day was very personalized and we fit so much into the short time we had! Communication with Henry prior to our trip was also very good, making us feel safe and confident for what was arranged! Henry is a life long friend now and cannot wait to catch up with him again some day!

Thank you for the review. It is nice to hear from you again and please send our regards to your lovely wife and family. Perhaps one day I will finely meet your children and teach them about Africa's wildlife. That will be fun.
