Ahh, im so in love with the history, sooooooooo soo good to have this memory. My grandfather lived in Johannesburg, so I had to visit the city and museum also. Keep doing it!
We popped on over to this museum without having to shift our car as it is so close-by the kids loved it as all boys do
The “War Museum” is a wonderful collection of militaria. It is one of the best museums of its kind. The collection of aircraft of Axis and Allied origin is very good, with the only surviving ME 262 in night fighter configuration. (Source from the museum.)....More
one of the best war museums around. international standard. just sad that the seating and AV in the auditorium is so tatty. Children can sit in some of the exhibits. excellent war planes, tanks, medals, photos, guns, uniforms. set in beautiful surroundings.
