This is mainly a food market. There are a few stalls that sell other things besides food, i.e. Vintage clothing and African inspired garments. It's good to go with friends and you can spend at least two hours there.

I love the Neighborhood Market, the vibe the cosmopolitan feel, the diversity of race, everyone enjoying themselves. Great food choices. Excellent organic wine and the coffee is pretty good. Today a DJ entertained the market with some acid hip hop. A must visit when in Joburg.

If you are looking for a good breakfast, brunch or lunch with good entertainment and lots to offer in a safe and friendly environment in the city then this is the place for you. There are numerous food stalls on the first level and some other goods (clothes, bags, shoes etc) for sale on the second level. I recommend going... More

We recently visited neighbourgoods market with our family who live in Johannesburg. It was a very fun few ours. Lots of new foods to taste and plenty of choice when it comes to a tasty lunch. Clean environment, tables at which to eat and toilets on site. Happy munching!!!

Amazing place to visit as it is open only on Saturday's hence lots of crowd. Lots of food, drinks, fun etc. etc. Not good place to take your kids...as it is crowded, noise, live music. But surely a place to go with friend and hangout.

I loved my first visit to this place and it will certainly not be the last visit. Getting there is easy on the freeway and parking is a breeze, if you get there early enough. We went at around 9h30. The vibe is fantastic and the food offering is superb. I loved the truly South African feel to the place... More

This is the second time I am visiting the Neighborgoods Market and would like to advise any future travelers about the following. This market must be the best in Gauteng. There is a wide variety of foods to buy from cured meats to olives, wine, MCC, sweats, paella, scwarmas etc. There is also a bar that sells all types of... More
