It's a train that works, is on time and is clean - you can't ask for very much more in SA. Don't chew gum on the train

Very reliable and super fast. Also easy for people new to the city. The only problem is, it is not a 24-hour service, so make sure you check the timetable before you have to rely on it especially before 05:00 or after 21:30

i have used Gautrain on many occasions. Reliable public transport, that is fast and safe. Does have minor issues occasionally, however the majority of the time the schedule and train stations are managed efficiently. Definitely worth the ride.

Just a tip - have an easy read map of your destination handy. Remember, you don't have a car so this is a great way to explore your own backyard, so to speak. Travel light.

We wanted to do the train because we had heard so much about it. The experience was nice and the police presence was nice. I'm sure it could be helpful to those who could use it effectively.

If you do not have too many pieces of luggage it is the easiest way to travel to and from Sandton to the Airport. Brand new, comfortable, reliable and fast : 12 minutes door to door, no need to worry about traffic jams!

Service closes early - long before most evening entertainment and certainly long before the last flights arrive at the airport.
