Thanks Linda for sharing so much information, history and culture about South Africa. Our tour was very informative and educational than expected which we really appreciate as we are a couple that recently was relocated to Johannesburg. - Tour guide: as mentioned she was exceptional very informative and punctual. Linda is well known in the community, people respect her and we felt pretty safe with her everywhere we went. - Transportation: her car was very comfortable with air conditioning. More than enough for 2 people. - Places: we visit historic places in Johannesburg, Soweto and Apartheid museum. It was probably a lot for just one day, you could spend a whole day just in the museum. So I would recommend not to try to cover a lot to enjoy it more. My favorite place was Soweto, people are so nice and humble. Heart touching, and good to see the other side of South Africa, the most beautiful, cultural and memorable, we want to go back and some point to explore it more! This was the first time we hire a tour company in Johannesburg and would definitely recommend it and use them next time we need to explore more of South Africa. If you visit South Africa do not think it twice, this tour company is very professional.

Malcolm was punctual and the day mt family and I spent in his company was the highlight of our stay. He was very knowledgeable about the history and archaeology of the region we were visiting. Careful planning from Ekala, meant we skipped the long queues at the Cradle of Humankind. For all of us, it was an unforgettable experience. Thank you Ekala!

Huge thanks to Ekala for a great tour. They met all of our needs from the moment our family landed. Our kids learned so much about the history and politics of the region. Any traveler wanting a real look behind the curtain at life in South Africa should consider this family-owned tour company. Thank you for such an authentic and memorable experience. Our kids will not forget it!

My boyfriend and I have been to the Krugerpark with Janet from Ekala eco tours and we could not have wished for more! We have learned so much from her due to her extensive knowledge about the wildlife in the park but also the history and culture of South Africa. She tends to all your needs, is motivated to give you the best Kruger experience (by for example driving you around all day) and is an incredibly sweet woman with interesting stories. Thank you Janet! Roos and Bryan

Janet a native SA was a wealth of knowledge and especially insight into the best and most difficult of Johannesburg’s issues. She is very in depth on her history of the apartheid era. She was also obviously very connected to the community as she did was warmly greeted by all the locals we met. She tries to adjust the tour to what she reads as your interest ... help her out and talk about IT. We probably could have spent a little less time touring the upscale mansion neighborhoods and a little more in the local neighborhoods but that’s us and she would just need to hear that. FYI
