Great way to explore some of the atrocities committed by the Apartheid regime of South Africa and to find out more about the symbolic power built into the constitutional court's architecture and interiors.

Great 1 hour tour providing an incite into the awful conditions experienced by the inmates of the Hill. Certainly a highlight of my last trip to Joburg.

Along with the Southwestern Townships, a must see in Joburg. Although not physical imposing, it captures the spirit of the resistance to apartheid and the birth of the new South Africa. The court is modest, but fitting with the history of the place. Take time...More

We went to Constitution Hill on our own for a site-seeing trip. We found it very dirty, noisy & disorganized. Probably better to go on an organized tour to find out what makes it tick.More

A site of incarceration and abuse, of neglect and vandalism, of rebirth and democracy, Constitution Hill epitomises much of the trauma and joy that South Africa and her citizens have experienced.

Is it safe to walk in the Hillbrow area during the day? I do enjoy exploring a city on foot rather than going on tours. Can I do it in Johannesburgh city center safely?
