Spend the whole day at this market and it was worth it. So many talented craftsmen and women in one spot is rare to find. The variety in food dishes was amazing. Great staff, clean facilities and a care-free atmosphere. I would highly recommendd you check-out this market. They are open every Saturday.

You can have good couple of hours there. Food and coffee are widely available but Hallal is very limited. You may buy some good vegetables and nice cloths. A of other stuff are on offer. It is good for children, teenagers and adults.

I remember coming to the Boeremark back in the early nineties when it consisted of about 5 tables. The typical South African tendency to administrate everything turned this into a favorite Saturday morning outing! Good old country food can be ordered while wandering around the stalls looking for a bargain. This will range from fresh produce to free range meat, from fake Nike's to seriously creative crafts and art and other entertaining add-ons, this market located in an upmarket neighborhood promises to surprise.

Before returning back to Jhb, we decided to check out this farmers market. We were blown away by the variety of stores and the great prices. Our visit was after Christmas so this was the explanation for the empty stalls dotted around. Our car boot was also full so we couldn't buy very much. So we have made up our minds that we will return sometime in the year to visit it again. The items on our shopping list will include: quiches, meat, cheese, plants and whatever else seems like good value.

We often go to the Langenhovenpark "Boeremark" for fresh produce, cheese, meat, etc. There are also stalls with homemade articles - wood, leather, needlework, etc. and stalls selling braaivleis, pancake, vetkoek, samoesas and much much more.
