We looked up places to visit and enjoyed going round the museum especially the film of William Kentridge which is very powerful. The sculptures in the garden are amazing and it’s free entry.

You go in and its a nice building and have a look at the art work. There is a floor for permanent art pieces and then a floor where they have exhibitions .Then you can go outside in the garden and theres like a tea room place where you can sit and drink something and also there is outside art features. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.

Well worth a visit. Museum is clean and well kept. Beautiful art on display. Would have loved to see some more of the old painters like Pierneef. Outside display and Merry go round absolutely awesome. Merry go round includes african animals ,beautifully made by local artists. A ride will cost you only R5.00! Lovely visit
