Great Value & Selection
Oct 2019
Our guide highly recommended them as one of the best in the Eastern Cape. They didn't disappoint. Though they were closed on Sunday, they came & opened so I could purchase gifts for friends & family. They have great woodwork, wooden kitchen items (bowls, bread baskets, salad cutlery, etc.), wall decorations, ostrich eggs, animal horns, jewelry (though somewhat limited), hides, & an area for more select items. Prices are much lower than you find at the airport & a far better selection. They packed things well in bubble wrap for the trip home. Nice & Friendly service.

Port Elizabeth's best African crafts shop. Had an amazing unique experience. Lots of parking and safe. See for yourself 😁👍and be amazed with the service, high-quality goods, neat, colourful, organised and very affordable items. Thank you Bernadine and Wezandla team- you made my day with your enthusiasm, willingness and wealth of knowledge. Kid friendly and excellent coffee and cake 😁 enjoy it!

Like all South African craft centers, not targeted for our citizens
Apr 2018 • Business
Good array of good to make special gifts but very over priced as its targeting the international market. Felt was much cheaper at the previous venue but I did visit almost a decade ago. Purchased beaded salad cutlery set -the wire work slipped off the spoon during its 2nd use - definitely won't be stopping there again.

Great shopping
Apr 2018
I was in South Africa for over 2 weeks but didn’t do much shopping. When my trip ended in Port Elizabeth I was recommended to this shop. It was a wonderful experience! The shop is huge and the staff was so helpful. They have a wide range of items from inexpensive fun gifts to expensive and elaborate finds that you haven’t seen elsewhere. I was able to find some special gifts for friends and family and of course- sone fun and different souvenirs for myself. The manager walked around with me and helped me pick out purchases without pressuring me to buy things. I have already told some other friends about this amazing store and hope to visit again someday!

Under new ownership , Wezandla is organised and offers a lovely collection of SA Gifts and curios. The pricing is a little expensive but you will find unusual and great stuff here

If you want to decorate a room in your house with an African theme, this is the best place in town to do your shopping. International visitors must love it. It has a very wide range of African curios and then some. It is well set out and tastefully decorated. The owner, Kevin, and his team are extremely helpful. If you ever have guests from out of town, take them there. It will be well worth the trip. And there's coffee and cake!
