Super guides - competent, experienced and passionate about their environment. We had a super morning, grateful for the stunning dolphins in such numbers, bait ball and penguins we saw and just being out there seeing what nature would show. Thank you Jamie and Jake.

When we took a tour with Raggy Charters, we never expected to see as much as we did. Two whales, huge pods of both common and bottle-nose dolphins, penguins, and a sun fish (which is apparently quite rare to see in the Bay.) Both Jamie and Jake were extremely informative and professional.

The crew which takes you on the water is very professional and dedicated, They know where to look for the specific dolphin, whale and bird species. They will make the trip as enjoyable as possible. And there is a lot to enjoy, I'm sure.

I joined the morning trip on the 11th April 2017, and it was one of the best wildlife watching boat trips I have been on. Lloyd is so enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable about the wildlife in Aloga Bay and it is great to know that money from trip goes towards conservation efforts in the bay. The boat is small which... More

THIS Whale Watching trip is just a must. Just an all round great experience. Plan on it taking longer to get there +10mins as you have to go to security at the harbour. If you get to the harbour early, there is a great spot to sit and look around while you wait to leave.

Our travel agent recommended Raggy charters as something we needed to do while on our one-night layover in PE. We're really glad we did. Even though we're out of whale season, there were definitely three or four resident Bryde's beauties that allowed us to hang out with them while they fished with the penguins. It was lovely to see them... More

We decided on a short term basis to do a trip with Lloyd and his crew. 10 minutes before departure we booked the trip and we were rewarded with an absolutely outstanding experience. The team know a lot about the environment and the situation in Nelson Mandela bay. We very so lucky and met a group of about 600 (!!)... More

On Sunday I went out on the Raggy Charters boat with Lloyd Edwards and his new young recruit, Jake. The weather was perfect and we had the most awesome time. We saw five or six Bryde's whales, an enormous pod of dolphins, a Copper Whaler shark and penguins galore. There were many other sea birds that also graced us with... More
