We had a lovely day together with our guide Alan. He explained a lot, we joked around, and the BBQ was amazing. We really had the best time. Highly recommend ☺️

Our half day tour with our guide Allan was truely amazing! Allan had
great knowledge about the park and all the animals.

He picked us up at our apartment at 08:20 am (really punctually) with his nice Safari vehicle. Already within the first half hour of our tour, we saw kudos, zebras, elefants and 4 lions. While the guides in the other cars did not spot the lions, Allan recognized them in the bush at first sight. During the entire tour, Allan provided us interesting information about the animals and knew the right spots to go to. When we told him the need to search for a restroom, he immediately brought us to the bathroom area within the park.

At 11:30 we had a nice picnic with freshly baked bread in the picnic area. We spent some time at the water holes where elephants passed approx 50cm in front of our car and we took many nice pictures. We left the park at 13:15 and had a wonderful stay! Allan even organized with the park crew that we could reuse our ticket to re-enter the park with our own vehicle in the afternoon.
We would definitely book this trip once again and highly recommend it! Greetings to Allan, thanks again for this nice experience!

It was amazing to see so many elephants congregated at the waterholes, as well as small groups travelling along the road/track. To experience an elephant gaze into your soul from only a metre away was unforgettable. So many other animal encounters on the day - monkeys, baboons, tortoises, wide array of antelope, zebras and bird life. Lots of Pumba the warthog! No lions today, but three additional lions were to be released the next day. An unforgettable day, I fully recommend this tour with a very informative tour guide.

Our first visit to the South African bush at Addo Elephant National Park was a wonderful excursion from our cruise ship call in Port Elizabeth. Steve was a very good guide and we saw many of the Big Five. However, the elephants were the stars of the day. Addo Game Drives also provided a terrific traditional South African BBQ lunch . We highly recommend this tour.

Edson Mashawa was our fabulous driver and guide. We were picked up from the cruise ship terminal when there were 3 ships at Port Elizabeth. Our vehicle had 4 couples in it. It took about 45mins to get to the park, using mainly dual carriageways. It was a very hot day, but we were able to open the windows, which was also better for photographs. We were certainly thrilled with the many elephants we saw, as well as zebra, warthogs, red hartebeest, kudu and eland. Eddie gave us a coffee break as well as taking us into Jack's Picnic Site (with Jurassic Park style entrance gates!) for a wonderful Braai lunch.
Eddie is a very knowledgeable guide and clearly loves his job. We had a great day, thank you. We got back to the ship: tired, hot and dusty, but soon recovered and we have memories that will last a lifetime.

We had an amazing experience with our guide Stephen. The full day was arranged for us, and we only had to look out for the most amazing animals. Stephen drove us to the best places, which ensured us to see have the best views. We even saw two lions very close to the car! The braai also was amazing, it was very varied and more than enough. Thanks again Stephen for this wonderful day!

We booked a private full day tour of Addo Elephant Park.

Mustaph our driver and guide picked us up from the cruise ship dock.
His knowledge of the animals and his ability to find them was outstanding.

We stopped for lunch at a wonderful restaurant right in the middle of the park. The Kudu stew was amazing!

It was definitely worth paying the extra for the private tour, as there appeared to be lots of people on the larger trucks that we saw.

We booked direct with Addo as the cruise ship options were much more expensive.
