This beach wasfanatastic a lot of wildlife in the area too. We were watching seals playing in the surf and dolphins and whales from the beach. Sand is lovely and white and the water is lovely although a little cold when we were there.

Visited here late afternoon and watched the sun come down and the tide come in. Lovely white sand and very quiet.

We loved this beach, we spent the entire afternoon playing on the beach with the kids, collecting seashells, finding snails. We played a lot and then went and got a great lunch at "Off the Hook" which is an awesome restaurant, awesome food!

Pletteberg Beach is a most wonderful beach to walk on. You can walk miles if you want to - by the edge of the sea or next to the lagoon. It is really beautiful and very scenic. However do make sure that you take notice...More
