Kurland Park Horse Trails is situated on the outskirts of the beautiful Plettenberg Bay area. Our trails offer a combination of hidden forest paths, water crossings, long cantering stretches and breathtaking mountain views. Add passionate guides, a stable of exceptional horses and you have the makings of an unforgettable riding experience that will leave you wanting more. From bombproof to energetic, we have horses and trails to suit beginners to advanced riders, to kids and adults. Ride through forest, fynbos and winelands; one hour to overnight trails available. The one word to describe our experience today has to be sublime. Amber and her team really went out of their way to make my wife’s birthday as special as I had hoped. The horses and guides were amazing which made the ride fun. The piece de resistance however was the picnic in that breathtaking valley next to the polo field. To have the opportunity to watch a polo match while sipping on wine and eating beautifully baked artisanal bread and cheese platter was a wonderful surprise. This was a one of a kind experience that even my kids would do again. Well done guys, 6 stars from us.

We did the 1 hour trail and we’re not too sure as we don’t know horse riding. Ispas our guide from Zimbabwe was fabulous. He made sure we all felt comfortable even though we don’t know much about horses. We had an amazing time walking and even trotting. Ispas also took pics and videos as we went around. My daughter enjoyed it too.

We did the 2h ride with four people. It was just us and our great guide. The trail was adventurous with a beautiful scenery. Perfectly adapted to beginners. Our guide even picked a field for us to gallop on. We definitely made memories for life.

I dropped in for some information and was invited along for a ride. A beautiful farm with forests and a mountain as the backdrop.
The horses are well looked after and are suited to the rider.
You can do forest trails, a carriage ride and many more.
This absolutely made my day and I am going back as soon as possible!

My kids and I went on the 2 hr horse-ride. We are all beginners but the horses are so well behaved, we felt like expert riders. The scenery is exquisite. A very enjoyable experience!

Robyn and the team at Kurland Horse Trails were exceptional in every way! The horses are very well looked after and the trail was through beautiful forests and farmland. We had a brilliant time and can highly recommend the experience.

What an absolutely stunning view from the start of the horse ride to the very end. Our family of 4 are all first time horse riders and Robyn made us feel so comfortable, she was so friendly and helpful! An awesome experience to tick off our bucket list, as well as making friends with the Kurland park’s horses along the way.
