Absolutely beautiful golf course with all the staff being very professional this is one of my favourite places to go for a round of golf. Go try and see for yourself.

Scenic course with a variety of challenges. No need to be in fear of it even if you are modest handicapper. Some longish holes but no problems as long as you can hit straight. Kept in fine condition, well marshalled. Compulsory 10 min refreshment stop halfway which is customary in these parts. Excellent clubhouse with balcony overlooking the 18th green. One or two ‘hell, how do I get out of this?’ type bunkers but most are surmountable. Teamed in to groups of 4 when busy so excellent for sole players or groups of 2 or 3.

Relatively simple golf course with beautiful greens and solid fairways but this being a Gary Player course we were expecting more. Great deal on Monday for seniors

I booked a tee time as a single player. As I had to get "on the road" that day, the guy in the pro-shop put ne out at 6.15am, ahead of those with bookings at 6.30am - so in theory I would have a quick round and not get in anybody's way.
In practice, the dreaded Germans put paid to that!
As in many other places in South Africa, they seem to think that queuing and tee times are things that only apply to other nationalities. They told me "we always go first - every day" and just pushed in front of me. And not just one group.
As in other places, the staff were apologetic (in this case refunding my green fee as I did not have the time or inclination to play behind them).
However, they need to actually stand up to this behaviour and stop the Germans just pushing their way in. I had the same problems at Boschenmeer and at de Zalze. I am sure it doesn't apply to all Germans - but at three of the courses I played in the past ten days I have had the same problem, and always with the same nationality!

Inept aggressive staff. Visitors to Clubhouse only get their order after the golfers have been served. Very veryrude manager.

Easy to book and friendly staff, especially in the pro shop and starter. Well-tended greens and fairways. Good test of golf and some interesting holes. Very scenic.

The quality of this facility never lets you down. We played four times during our week at Plet, and each time we were treated with excellent service and friendliness. From security at the gate to booking in to a wonderful attitude from the two starters. The course was in outstanding condition and a test of golf for the best.
The catering side is also very good but expensive for SA Rands.
This is a must for any golfer visiting Plet.
